“Paper!” Daphne suddenly demanded while Harry was enjoying her mother’s food. “Come on give me a piece of paper to write something!” Demanded the blonde once again but Harry only raised his brow in response.

“Why would I give you that? I’m your guardian, not your servant, and get off the ground already, how much time are you going to spend there!?” Harry asked in an exasperated tone.

The blonde was still on the floor due to the restriction spell Harry used on her when she tried to stop him from saying such awful things to her mother, but it seems like not even in that situation, he was able to act like a human being and aid her, so, she gritted her teeth and got on her feet slowly and painfully, but in the end, she did it.

“You’re a git, that’s not the proper way to treat a lady like me!” The blonde said angrily but Harry didn’t pay too much attention to her rant.

“Oh nice, fresh durian!” Harry said happily as he ate one bite of the fruit known for its strange smell, he was enjoying it way too much. “Uh? Did you say something?” He asked with a raised brow.

Daphne couldn’t believe it, he didn’t give a fuck about her, and it was making her feel angry no one has ever acted like that when it comes to her, she's used to people always wanting to help her but he wasn't like other people and she couldn’t take it anymore, she was going to give him a lesson, but she needed to take things slowly before putting her plan in action, she was going to make him worship her with this plan, but she needed to create a perfect plan for that.

“I want to write a letter…Can I get a parchment?” She asked in a fake gentle tone and she made Harry feel surprised by her sudden change of attitude.

The dark-haired wizard remained in silence for a few moments, he couldn’t believe she was acting like this now, he was wary of her but still, things weren't as easy as they looked like.

“Your right to send and receive letters has been limited until further notice because you walked further than what you're allowed to walk in the garden, don’t you remember that?” he asked in a bored tone before sighing.

“Yes, I didn’t forget about that but…There must be a way to add it to my debts, right? Please, this is about your career too, I just want to tell my mum to not tell the ministry what you did…You’re a piece of shit but at least you’re not a weirdo, I don’t want someone like that Smith guy you’re talking about to be my guardian!” She said in a worried tone.

“Your debt uh?” Harry asked with a raised brow.

Even in situations like this, the rich always have some privileges, Harry is aware of that, just like in muggle jails where prisoners have their own economic system, it’s the same thing when it comes to magical home arrest where criminal wizards and witches are allowed to ask for a few harmless things as long as they have money.

It's overpriced as hell but when you're in a desperate situation you don't think too much about your decisions, and everything gets added to your debt and it has to be paid at the end of your sentence because interests are high as hell too, it's like a loan one that is hard to get out if you're not careful with it.

“Well, if you're going to pay for it then I guess suit yourself…” Harry suddenly made a parchment appear. “The right to write and receive a letter once,” he wrote in the piece of paper, and the words he wrote suddenly disappeared. “One hundred galleons added to Daphne Greengrass’s criminal debt,” Harry added with a calm tone, and as soon as the transaction was accepted, he made a piece of paper appear.

The paper was of very high quality just like the feather and the ink he made appear with a snap of his fingers, and as soon as he handled those things to the blonde, she started to write as if her life depended on it, and Harry was paying attention to what she was writing, he had to that because all her correspondence needed to be monitored or there could be a potential risk of her making a escaping plan.

He didn’t know for how long they had been like this but the moment she finished she handed the letter to Harry as soon as possible, after all, she wanted her mother to receive the letter as quickly as possible.

“So, is everything in order?” Asked the blonde in a fake calm tone.

“Yes, there’s nothing wrong written in here but...You shouldn’t refer to someone as bastard though, it’s very ambiguous as there’s a lot of bastards out there, Voldemort was one sick bastard literally,” Harry laughed and Daphne just rolled her eyes. “Come on, don’t put that face, his mother used a love potion on a muggle man and when he realized what happened, he didn’t want anything to do with her, so, technically Voldemort was a bastard,” Harry was annoyed by her lack of humor.

She decided to not say anything, the less she indulged in this stupid conversation, the faster her mother could receive her letter.

“So, are you sure this is everything you want to tell her?” Asked Harry and she nodded. “Okay then…” Her eyes widened the moment he started to write something. “The food was incredible, Miss Greengrass and I enjoyed it, thanks from the bastard,” he finished and soon, he closed the parchment and called one of the owls from the ministry.

Soon, a brown owl appeared and Harry attached the parchment to one of its feet before he ordered the flying creature to deliver the letter.

“Well it has been fun but now it’s time for you to continue with your usual schedule, so, eat what your mother cooked for you and finish as soon as possible so you can continue with your secluded punishment,” Harry said in a more serious and dangerous tone.

She didn’t react nor express anything, she just nodded and after she finished eating, she was placed in an empty room with nothing but a few candles to light up the place. Some would say that home arrest is the best thing that could happen to you, but at least in Azkaban, you’re with other people in the same situation as you, you suffer but at least you're not alone.

People like Daphne are condemned to get secluded in their own homes with nothing to entertain themselves, they only have their guards and that’s it, aside from the food hours and the waking hours when she’s allowed to leave the house for a brief period so she could exercise, Daphne spends most of the time in this room, doing nothing but thinking about everything she did to be here in this situation.

“I have to destroy him, I can’t keep going like this if things keep going like this I’m going to end up going insane,” the blonde said to herself.

Luckily, this place was completely sound-proofed due to the home arrest laws, though any disturbance detected could be perceived as an escaping attempt, so, she couldn’t do a lot of things here but at least she could freely talk with herself without worrying about Potter getting involved in her business, but she knows what to do to kill time until her next meal.

“Think Greengrass, there must be a way to make him pay for everything he has done, most men are weak to women who throw themselves at them but this is not going to work with Potter,” the blonde gritted her teeth as she tried to figure out what to do with her guardian.

To be honest, she wasn’t trying to escape any longer, she knows that by law, Aurors are allowed to kill prisoners sentenced to home arrest in case they try to escape, and while she has had a few attempts to escape in the past, her previous guards were too weak-willed to follow the law, however, she knows that Potter is different, and she knows he won’t hesitate to kill her just like he has done with a lot of her death eater comrades.

No, what Daphne was trying to do was to have a more peaceful punishment, she wanted to spend the rest of the remaining days of punishment in peace, she wanted to have a neutral or even friendly relationship with her guard but he was making things difficult for her.

“Mom taught me everything I needed to know about men and how to control them, I don’t get why it’s so difficult for me to do something with this man, she told me that aside from Voldemort, no one would be able to resist my charms, this doesn’t make any sense!” She complained and she tried to think about other ways to get back at him.

But soon, her eyes widened after realizing what she was lacking in her plan that she had been plotting for a few weeks, there was a missing piece and it seemed like she had found it.
