The entire fight and Dichotomy of the Uchiha clan and their special abilities is a reflect of Japan’s own history, culture, and mythology. For instance Tsukynomi, Amaterasu, and Susano are based around their Shinto deities who are siblings, whom are a few of their original Gods. The Tosaka blade is a blade that Susano used to cut off an eight headed serpent named Orochi in Japan folk lore, which he used alcohol to lore it. The Yata mirror is one of 3 items considered by Japan to be its Sacred treasures/Imperial Regalia. Which is believed all 3 represent 3 virtues that is practiced in Japan, along with it being a symbol for the Imperial lineage to have the right to rule over Japan since ancient times given by the Goddess of Sun “ or fire” Amaterasu. That’s just the tip of the iceberg which it came to Kishimoto writing the Uchiha’s whole existence as a reflect of his own society way of living and history, through Itachi and now Sasuke.
