I’m new to the place, are the crew skipping filler Naruto episodes?

I never caught it until the crew pointed it out. Naruto, in the beginning looks like an older version of him. Is that purposeful to signify that Naruto is taking the next step in his development? If so, that's a pretty cool detail by the animators.

meh.... I don't care if it's partially filler. I liked the episode. Remember, OG Naruto is geared towards children. This was a really good character development episode and has a good message for children who watch it. Plus there were really cool moments if you've seen both series. Not gonna lie.... I kind of got emotional when I saw old school InoShikaCho getting drunk at a bar.

not sure where this would be most appropriate to say so i'm just gonna put this here. the fate animes don't spend much time explaining the magic system of their world but there is a series of movies called the garden of sinners that explains quite a bit of it because they take place in the same world.

It is listed as partially filler. Because it's partially filler. In the manga, immediately after the Hinata scene, Naruto is at the arena. There's not even a manga panel of him traveling there. Everything from when Naruto and Hinata's conversation ends, to the very end of the episode when Naruto stands with the others at the arena is filler. So a good 9 minutes of the episode is filler.

They have there editors to give them heads up dont they for stuff like this and the hinata stuff was like 25 percent of the episode the rest was filler I know it's not that big a deal I'm just dying waiting for the next round lol
