I played the French Horn from the beginning of middle school to my first year in college. None of the teachers I had were anywhere close to Fletcher's abuse but music teachers can get lost in the moment. Marching band was particularly intense and there were times where I felt bad for some of the students being "corrected". J.K. Simmons academy award was well earned in Whiplash.

There are TWO ways to unlock nen, years of concentration/ training at at a specialty or Nen specifically, or have nen forced into your body, like gon/killua and the Ants

you don't need to be hit by Nen to use it, otherwise how did the first person get Nen. you can learn it slowly and safely like Zushi did or the quick and dangerous way like gon, Killua and the other fighter of heavens arena did. Also The Gungi girl is Nenless.
