Great TV show, although i feel like if it had ended after season 5 it would have gone down as one of the best of all time. The first 5 seasons just had such a perfectly crafted storyline that felt planned out, after that if felt like the creators just winged it a lot..

Honorable Mentions: Season 6 (Love me some soulless Sam). Season 11 (Reintroduction of Chuck, Cassifer, and Amara being absolutely fantastic). Season 8 (Just for the amazing scene in the barn in the finale) and Season 10 (Dean's journey dealing with the Mark of Cain, Cas's speech on how he'd have to watch Dean murder the world, and the death of death).

Seasons 4 & 5 have the most rewatchable episodes for me, but I picked Season 13. The introduction of Jack was done super well in my opinion and added a great new dynamic and chemistry to the main cast. While I love the early seasons, when I re-watch them now, I feel a strange disconnect with the characters because I feel that they have grown and changed so much over the seasons. It's like they're not yet the people that I know even though I knew them then if that makes sense.

I joined during the summer between seasons 10 & 11. Binged watched all 10 in 12 days. I think Season 8 was pivotal in the continuation of SPN. The cinematography was more expansive and so gorgeous! Story points refocused on the brothers and TFW. Before this season you never got a sense of how big the boys are. Before they’d just have other actors on apple boxes. Not from that point on. The colors were more saturated too. Also it felt like Sam and Dean were truly grownups. And the finale is probably in my top 3 favorite finales. So much overall goodness that year. Season Eleven gave us a new sense of acceptance and unit between the brothers. The past was past. Amara! Cassifer! “She’s got Sparkle on her face!” - Imaginary friend Sully The humor was top notch this season. The episode “Baby”was unique and beautiful. Romeo and Juliet aspect of “Red Meat” and the addition of the director Nina Lopez-Corrado. Healthy growth for all the characters. Chuck’s reveal to the boys that he’s God and the performances that followed. And my thoughts that I wrote a few hours after watching the series finale — once I stopped crying that is: 1. I cannot even begin to guess when I’m gonna be able to think of Sam and Dean without crying again. 2. From start to finish, it was so perfect 3. Dean straight up stole someone’s dog. 😂 Miracle was too healthy and clean to be a stray. 4. Their iconic clean vs dirty rooms was heartwarming then later heartbreaking. 5. Dean’s “I Love You So Much” “Goodbye, Sam” is a display of why I always say “See you later” to people. 6. I saw many spoilers online the night it aired but it did NOTHING to ease the pain all those soul-shredding moments that never let up. 7. Why did no one prepare me for Sam naming his son after Dean?!!? That hit me so hard! It probably eased his grief and reminded him to live for (both) Deans. 8. Speaking of... Son!Dean’s family tattoo. Reminded me of Henry Winchester’s statement that, “You're also Winchesters. As long as we're alive there's always hope.” 9. Dean not having to wait long for Sam🥲; but Sam having to wait decades! 😖 10. Returning to the age and look Sam had when Dean died. 11. Thank you Jack for bettering the afterlife. This might have been the paradise Kelly saw as she would be dead when it came to be. 12. Sam being an amazing father to Son!Dean after having learned from his Dean. 13. The last scene being “Always you and me.” 14. Realizing Sam probably hadn’t told anyone about Dean cause he was too consumed by his grief. 15. The Legacy of this show. The Legacy of this fandom family. 16. Umm... why was there not at least a blurry photo of Sam’s wife on that mantle? 😅😂

I also have the Mark of Cain (and screen accurate First Blade replica) season 10 into 11 is my favorite of the series! The Prisoner is my favorite episode!

Season 6 wasn't my favourite, but it was definitely solid. I think people were mostly just upset because season 5 would've made such a perfect ending to the show, so they were made at the concept of a season 6 being made.

I put 15 on my list, because they acted the hell out of some of those scenes in the last episodes and we can see how far they come as actors. Not to mention the brothers, had they called Jack I don't think he would have been able to say no, but they made a choice of not starting that cycle again.

Seasons 3,4,5 are a masterstroke. They are what sold Supernatural's storytelling chops. It was the entirety of the Apocalypse storyline from Dean selling his soul, learning the mythos of the demons, Ruby, Lilith, the introduction of angels, the four horsemen, Crowley at some of his finest, and the beautiful finale (supposed to be original finale) that was Swan Song.

Season 4 like Eric said it was the game changer of SN. That’s when I became a hardcore fan!! Bringing in Angels was amazing and Castiel.... so good!!!!

5, 4, 11, 13 and 14 are my favorite in that order based on main storyline. Although earlier seasons were more consistent all around. 11 was Amara, 13 Jack and Apocalypse World, 14 Deachael and Souless Jack.

It's one of the few shows that wasn't screwed over by the writers strike. I agree with you that it's underrated and had some amazing, legendary episodes that season like "Bad Day at Black Rock".

Season 5 is still my favorite, I was a little upset about Dead dying, however after a few days I've accepted it and after a rewatch was satisfied by the finale.

The only scene to make me cry in this show was the one where Sam threw himself into Hell. The music combined with the facial acting, looking at Dean and letting him know everything is gonna be ok. I wish the show had ended there

Season 3 is underrated in my opinion. It’s only 16 episodes long, so it feels more compact and it has so much less filler. And it marks the first time I cried, with Dean’s bloody hellhound death.

I love Season 4 and 5 but I have to say season 9 and 10 are my favorite. I really enjoyed and loved the "Mark of Cain" storyline with Dean. I even have the mark as a tattoo my self so 😂
