her time is questionable only the first arc and that can even be somewhat attributed to chiyo. and even then i think most people can agree the first 2 arcs of shippuden are the worst ones. and it's all down hill from there unfortunately.

She will get her time to be noticed and to have skilled ninjutsu but that's in Shippuuden unfortunately. In Naruto she's pretty much always gonna be useless and on the sidelines.

honestly i would say it's pretty deserved. but i would also say naruto's characters are pretty bland in general outside of the main plot events. so with sakura not really having any big moments in the main plot she was kinda pointless lol. you can honestly sum up almost every character in the show with 1 or 2 sentences and not be leaving out almost any details. don't get me wrong i love naruto but when they are just chilling out they are super boring personality wise.

Disagree, have you ever watched a game night episode. Aaron is definately sasuke. He pulls grudges from previous game nights to betray and get the win hahah. I agree with Rick being Kakashi or Shikamaru if we give them from the Genin 9(due to his strategic game play), Eric definately Choji(good heart), Naruto I'd have to give to Shane(goofy but doesnt ever like to betray friends), and Calvin I'd say kiba or shino

I think that's true for the current moments in naruto, but she really does blossom later.... far far later. She isnt my favorite character but when you get teamed up with naruto and sasuke yourebalready at a disadvantage. But she has skills they dont have. Her chakra control is next level and the other skills that come out later in the series make her a true third member of an unstoppable team

For the most part, Sakura hate is over exaggerated, however, with some truth to it. She could have been written a lot better. Early on she’s revealed to be the smart one, but doesn’t get a lot chances to demonstrate how smart she actually is, which is a bummer. It also would have helped if she had a better reason to fall in love with sasuke other him being hot. There should have at one scene where sasuke did something genuinely nice for Sakura. Still, Sakura doesn’t deserve 100% hate from the fandom, there are positives to her character. She does genuinely care for her friends, like when she would visit Rock Lee in the hospital to give him flowers. She does become useful member of team seven in shippuden by becoming a healer. She also provides some hilarious comedy through her reactions to Naruto’s actions. Anybody remember Sakura’s reaction to reverse harem Jutsu, hilarious 😂

They removed and changed and added a lot of scenes from the manga. I don’t trust SP. they did that abomination of an anime adaptation called tokyo ghoul too, so 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

But no; there are still people who hate her for god knows what. Yes, her character could’ve been written better and sometimes i wanna strangle kishimoto for not doing it; but you can’t deny that this episode is a huge development for her. I watched this when i was 7 years old and remembered being so inspired. There’s this pretty girl who was kinda annoying and only talks about her love for a boy and was kinda pathetic in battle and now she’s cutting her hair, a significant representation of her character, and decided to protect her friends. So to those people who don’t think the whole hair cutting scene isn’t significant or important to little girls, i am sorry, but i was one of those little girls. I still love her to my core until now.

Something that is never actually discussed in the show, but is actually pretty important, is that Sakura isn’t from a ninja family. Almost all the other kids in their class are from a ninja clan, and were trained pretty much since birth to be ninja, but Sakura’s parents are civilians. You guys seem to be under the impression that everyone living in the village is a ninja, but that’s not the case. She actually probably doesn’t have as much training as the other genin. And you also have to remember that she’s being compared to Naruto and Sasuke, who have very unique circumstances that pushed them to get stronger than is normal for their age. The mission to the Land of Waves with Zabuza was the first time Sakura was ever in a real fight. So I think that she's actually progressing at a reasonable pace, and her teammates are the unusual ones.

I'm sorry but for all the anime and manga that have made it to the level of Naruto, in terms of popularity, I can't think of any that has as many bad characters as Naruto. I feel like I could count the number of actually well written and engaging characters from the entire series on two hands. We have Kakashi, Rock Lee, Might Guy, Gaara, Orochimaru, Pain, Itachi, Madara, Jiraiya, and Killer Bee.

Kishimoto's (the author) biggest fault in writing female characters, is that he can't decided whether he wants his female characters to specialize in physical strength, emotional strength, or mental strength. As a result, Sakura ends up becoming a lackluster hybrid of all 3. Anytime he focuses on a side female character, he does a good job with her.

Please acknowledge that you probably have seen more of the series than they have. There isn't much of a reason to like Sakura at this point. Her character is very one note, and that note is liking a boy who barely talks to her and called her an idiot in their first interaction. When Kakashi asked them about their goals, she said something Sasuke related. It's kinda off putting. And because her character is extremely bland at this point, it further highlights how much "nothing" she does. You can be a Sakura fan all you want, but don't pretend that there isn't valid reason to dislike her, especially at this point in the story

I actually defend her being obsessed with Sasuke at this point. It seems silly, because it feels like she's focused on a shallow goal, but, when you think about it, Naruto, and most of the other kids aren't very different. Naruto is obsessed with being the Hokage, because he wants the fame.

Sakura’s character has always been somewhat unlikable, especially, during the first half the show. In Shippuden, I like her a little more since she at least gets stronger and has one really cool fight against the puppet guy

At the time this episode was awesome, it really made me cheer for Sakura, made excited about the prospect of how she, a normal shinobi with talent, could become as strong as Naruto with his demon inside and Sasuke with his sharingan. The problem was that **SPOILER** it never happened, every time she grew stronger the other two remained five or more times stronger than her. It's a shame Kishimoto wrote her that way.

It’s not her fault she’s terrible, it’s the mangako’s fault. He really thought cutting her hair was going to be that significant to little girls reading Naruto. He really thought he was writing a strong positive female role model. And girls hate her, because she is terrible. She is a terrible character who was written terribly. It’s not her fault, but it doesn’t make her any less terrible. She’s just words on a script and ink on a page.
