RWBY 4x13 Finale Reaction - Early Access!

"The Enemy of Trust"

Who will you become when your greatest fears are realized?

RWBY 4x13 Finale Reaction - Early Access!

Comments

While who is to blame is matter of opinion, there are some truths. Team rwby did betray Ironwood's trust, team rwby did turn on ozpin, Ironwood did Crack, Ironwood's fears did come true, team rwby are inexperienced children and shouldn't be making decisions like withholding info from the one in charge but trusting a random politician with someone else's secrets. But at the end of the day, the next season is out so we shall see if there are consequences to everyone's actions and decisions whether we agree with them or not.

Cadmus Lochlan

I coulda swore Yang was the oldest and was 17. They were just barely first years when Beacon fell. It hasn't been long. Isn't RWBY 15? Yang is also considered not an adult when she leaves to find RWBY so there wasn't a huge time skip or anything. Also, I do think RWBY are to blame for betraying Ironwood's trust. But the point of the story was that they and Ironwood were making the same mistakes but for good reasons, meaning they weren't necessarily complete mistakes. They were in a grey area. Be truthful and you're honest but you could be recklessly allowing drastic things to happen and make the situation worse. Keep your secrets to be safe and you're a liar causing everyone to run around ignorantly. Ozpin did this as well and... actually... I don't think anyone should blame him. Jinn pointed out he was a hero who fought for justice and no selfish gains. He was pulled back and forth and then forced into this role. He then tries desperately to accomplish it after thousands of years of torturing experience dealing with it. He's doing his best to build up the new generation, such as team RWBY. And he keeps certain secrets because he doesn't know who to trust and who can handle the info he has. He didn't want to tell anyone the truth about Salem because he it'll make things worse, which it did. They were better off just trusting him. They act like he betrayed their trust by not trusting them with the truth but really they betrayed his by not just following his lead. What he was hiding has yet to be the cause of anything bad for them. While Ironwood is right to be mad, his actions are the sign of him cracking. It's not Team RWBY's fault, however. It's his own. There's no room for excuses where you blame others for your own actions and behavior. Don't people usually preach how we shouldn't blame others for our own problems and actions? How much you blame Ironwood or blame Team RWBY and JUNO is up to you and your own opinions but they're not facts. And yes... I know this is months later so no one will really see it. But I'm just now watching this and these comments are still here so still valid. lol

Newsflash captain sarcasm, everyone except Ruby on team RWBY is 19. Ironwood may be much older, but they're hardly "children" and are definitely old enough to be held accountable for lying about something as important as the main villain Ironwood has spent his entire adult life trying to stop.

Cultured Degenerate

"The mental descent of a grown ass adult is ACTUALLY the fault of fucking children - here's why!"

MRBS

The plot points were mangled to begin with peeps. Don't play that card.

George Kiourtis

and that it's more concealed than the others

Kieran Hoare

Damn ya'll really couldn't brush up for maybe 10 mins on the series before this season. I understand being forgetful but you're missing so many main plot points yeesh.

AustinMyB

Wrong. Ironwood's descent is team RWBY's fault, here's why. He was always open to council and heeded his advisor's advise. (Winter, Penny, Team RWBY) When he wanted to make a drastic call he listened and adjusted his plan. Why because he trusted their judgement. Team RWBY however destroyed that trust by betraying him. Keeping secrets from him and going behind his back. They only tell him their secret right after their faced with a lot of pressure from what happened with Watts and grim attacking the city. and then learning Cinder was in his office. When he confronted team RWBY they were arrogantly not regretting their decisions prior and was instead cooperating with the arrest order, they openly went against it. Had they not kept secrets and gone behind his back, I believe Ironwood would not have fallen to his fear. Instead he would listen to his council as he had been doing until now.

Cadmus Lochlan

He’s still a child, and his descent can only be his fault regardless of your stance.

Don't you guys take notes?

Fighting Wombat

Relic Status -- Lamp of Knowledge: with Cinder Fall -- Staff of Creation: locked in Atlas Vault -- Sword of Destruction: locked in Shade Academy Vault -- Crown of Choice: unknown, Ozpin claims to have hidden it at Beacon somehow.

Shak Vids

She's not ritta repulsa calvin :p

Herberderber

Please don't tell them they're correct on something entirely unconfirmed.

Merrick

Arin is correct, The cane turns back time for Oscar. Ozpin NEVER took over Oscar, he did wake him up but it was always Oscar. I believe Ozpin is almost "gone" and Oscar is getting all his memorys and skills soon.

Ren's problem is that he after the reveal of Salem's immortality he started thinking that he needs to become stronger, better so he can protect Nora ... and it worked , his aura sensing got better, but during the election episode he lost focus when he and Nora kissed, so he endet up blaming himself and started to have any more doubts about his way of a huntsmen ... In other words the poor guy is just really stressed, he lost both his parents and his village and nearly was about to attack a person that pretty much looked like Nora (Neo)

Dragon Huntress

You guys make it really frustating at times😅, Raven is the Spring Maiden, Vernal was a decoy, and the former Spring Maiden (wich name we don't know) was trained and later killed by Raven ....

Dragon Huntress

No Cinder is fully using the maiden's powers/magic but she hasn't mastered it yet ... rewatch the fight with her against Ozpin and Raven, she is clearly one of the strongest characters in rwby-verse

Dragon Huntress

Ironwood did not betray Team RWBY. Team RWBy betrayed Ironwood. His descent is their fault. In his eyes Oscar isn't Oscar but Ozpin, so he wasn't shooting a child, but an ancient old man. I'm like Winter, Full Ironwood support.

Oscar/Ozpin’s cane has the ability to store time. This way they can fully recharge there aura after a break.

Rachel Charash

We know 3 maidens out of the 4: Fall is Cinder (you can remember because her name is Cinder Fall) Spring is Raven (Yang’s mom) Vernal was her decoy. Winter is now Penny. There are 4 relics locked away in the 4 kingdoms. Can only be retrieved by a Maiden.

Chai Tea

So many people get this wrong though it is understandable. Winter couldn’t withstand the cold because her Aura was broken. Penny has Aura, which is why she was able to withstand the cold. Cinder’s Grimm arm also couldn’t take it (Grimm have no Aura)

Tanyelle

Wow you guys got Raven's (Yangs Mum) maiden thing completely backwards! They were pretending Vernal was the Spring maiden but it was actually Raven the entire time.

Hercule Pyro

Raven (Yang’s Mom) is the Spring Maiden. Vernal was a decoy, and never had the original powers. Raven killed the actual Spring Maiden, hence why she has the powers.

Ben Hendrian

As someone who regards Ironwood as their favorite character and Oscar as their second favorite, this episode hurt me. 😔 Happy y’all enjoyed the Volume and can’t wait to see your reaction to Vol 8 next year!
