Do you think it will significantly matter in later events that Zari did not drink from the Chalice of Dionysus?

This shows is to aware of its self to do something without an agenda. I believe.

2020-05-20 16:50:48 +0000 UTCIt's not that I don't think it will matter, but since she didn't drink it for religious reasons, I don't want this to have a negative effect on her or the team. I really don't think the writers will go in that direction. If it matters at all, I'll only be okay if it has a positive effect. I'm not a Muslim, but I think this kind of positive representation. especially in times like now, is really important.

2020-05-19 22:29:17 +0000 UTCI think her not drinking may somehow trigger something that will bring back OldZari.

2020-05-19 19:53:44 +0000 UTCI think it will as it may mean that the sisters might use her as a hostage to get the team to do what they want. Also I believe in the story point of chekhov's gun, where nothing mentioned is pointless

2020-05-19 05:14:16 +0000 UTCIt’s going to all come down to Beebo at the end. He is the one and only true Fate

2020-05-19 04:00:18 +0000 UTCI get the feeling Gods can sense other Gods, so maybe the other fates will sense where they are and Zari has to hide the Loom for protection or something. I just feel like it'll backfire somehow.

2020-05-17 23:22:01 +0000 UTCBebo didn't drink it either, so him and Zari will team up to save the team from whatever evil this brings about.

2020-05-17 16:45:17 +0000 UTCI'm guessing we're going to get a ctrl+c> ctrl+v of last season because of this we'll get Lose Zari and get Behrad.

2020-05-17 06:54:11 +0000 UTCits a Muslim thing
2020-05-15 16:53:56 +0000 UTCNeither the actress or Zari would be willing to drink wine because of their religion.

2020-05-15 14:00:51 +0000 UTCZari didn't drink at Marie Antoinette's party and knew something was wrong with Behrad when he did
Michael Smith
2020-05-15 01:33:06 +0000 UTCThe reason she didn't drink is only because of her religion, but I think it will matter in later events ; maybe the others will turn bad because of their new god status and she'll have to stop them, or she'll be the key to stop Lachesis' (Charlie's evil sister) shenanigans, or she'll die and the others will have to bring her back too (and maybe even bring back Zari 1.0 instead because her thread is a tangled mess like Behrad's because of time travel)

2020-05-15 00:00:28 +0000 UTCZari is Muslim. Muslims are not supposed to drink alcohol. It's more following the practices of Islam. So, it's a thing for her character. But because she didn't drink from the chalice, I don't see it will be a significant thing later on
Anthia Grant
2020-05-14 20:34:45 +0000 UTCI think it's just because of her religion
Nathan Armitage
2020-05-14 20:29:35 +0000 UTCShe’ll have to solve a mistery or complete a quest while the rest is in another dimension or something. Honestly, I stopped caring about logic and storylines, LOT is all about switching off and enjoying the ride.

2020-05-14 20:07:37 +0000 UTCIt’s the holy month of ramadan right now and drinking alcohol is considered haram (sinful) so for her character it wouldn’t make sense to drink it
Slim Shady
2020-05-14 19:55:04 +0000 UTCIt might not matter but it could be something that comes down to keep Behrad or Zari, I know both don't drink because of their religion.

2020-05-14 19:16:32 +0000 UTCZari has never drank and neither does Behrad. Been a thing this entire season.
Gavin Mcfadden
2020-05-14 18:49:05 +0000 UTCI do not think it will matter

2020-05-14 18:31:59 +0000 UTCDefinitely this is Legends not Black Lightning season 2
Joel
2020-05-14 18:27:44 +0000 UTCI think in Legends fashion, they’ll end up with some time-shenanigans that breaks reality cause of the Loom - with Zari being the only one unaffected and having to fix it all. Also depends who they fix first - Behrad or Astra’s mother.

2020-05-14 18:24:17 +0000 UTCNo. Reality's an illusion and the universe is a hologram, therefore NOTHING matters.
The Amish Electrician
2020-05-14 18:23:17 +0000 UTCI doubt it. Maybe a line about how it proves she's not looking for power and Astra trust her for that.
Doby Greg
2020-05-14 18:23:02 +0000 UTCShe didn't drink because she is a muslim I don't think there is going to be anything else to it.
