The problem isn't with them taking it one episode at a time. They're free to enjoy the show at whatever pace they like. The problem is that Naruto in its early stages is one of the worst paced shows I've ever seen. It's kinda crazy how a great show can be marred by something so trivial

Yes, I still remember that. I also still remember that once they've run out of new episodes to show every day you've had months of re-runs because the dubbing studios obviously couldn't dub as fast as the channels were showing the anime on TV. The American system was waaay better. Instead of cramming in the same show every day you had different shows each day making for a varied experience.

so americans watch series like that on the weekend while in europe you saw 5 episodes a week from monday till friday 1 new episode per day, maybe thats where all the pacing stuff is coming from because different people saw it in a different pacing. And in Japan where it first aired it was mostly 1 episode a week but that also depended on the episodes sometimes even Japan would release 3 episodes at the same day because they didnt wanted to interrupt an amazing fight for example

People have to remember this show was a show they added on their own. It was not a voted for show, they said in the beginning that they are not changing the format, it's 1 a week. They even said there might even come a point where they can decide to just take a break from it and comeback later

Great episode! Right now it's ok but down the line there is gonna be filler upon filler upon FILLER and MANY long flashbacks. Some are ok but the majority in my opinion are dumb. I know they won't do more than one episode a week but damn it's gonna get rough. Thank god they never touched One Piece lol

Only 18 episodes in and they're already annoyed by the pacing, underdeveloped Sakura and flashbacks. 2 episodes a week might reduce the pain of flashbacks and it allows them to enjoy the story more fluidly....Might just catch this series on Youtube if they won't adjust the schedule.
