Titans 2x6 Poll!

Do you think Conner will be de-powered for a significant amount of time this season due to his wound this episode?

We are having some problems with the YouTube version of the video, so see it mirrored HERE:  https://www.blindwavellc.com/titans-2x6-reaction/

He should be tbh. I think it's sort of unfair how Kory or Donna have been nerfed in certain situations but it took no time at all for the writers to make Conner have a majority of his canon abilities and then some.

Connor in the comics has almost all the ability’s of Superman, he flies a lot as a stress reliever so I don’t think they’d take his powers away at all, krypto isn’t a golden retriever in the comics either, that was smallville, he’s a white dog in comics and cartoons

I feel that Conner will be back to himself soon, however it may be a while for us as the next few episodes may be about something completely different. Their storytelling has not always been consecutive, but not in a bad way.

GollyJunior

it is also why superman typically doesn't have bullet holes in his costume, according to the comics kryptonians have a bio-forcefield that "reflects" things that hit them.

The 16bit Couple

Also, Krypto is a small white dog in his cartoon series. Probably that exact breed.

Enkyri

I think it makes the most sense to de-power him while the other Titans are gaining their powers more. Like Raven for instance. With her in the picture & as her powers grow, eventually, there will be no need to de-power him. Eventually, they'll probably introduce stronger villains later in the series which will require stronger Titans.

Enkyri

Crusader how he is now I didnt see him fly just really Strong and seems to leap high. I think the shot will effect him but he will heal faster then superman because of human dna.

Skeletor

An Episode And A Half At The Most. Or Im wondering if human DNA will allow him to get over it faster which makes him more dangerous then Super Man. But better question is who will save The Dog.

Skeletor

By the way the fact his t shirt didnt have holes before isnt a plot "hole", I think Connor forms telepathic barriers in the comics to block bullets rather than having indestructible skin

Murray Turray

He'll be depowered for a while, perhaps permanently. The problem with having a ghod on the roster is that after awhile it becomes really difficult to believe the bad guys wouldn't immediately be turned into quivering goo. I'd rather see him depowered by a deus ex machina solution than by lowering everybody's IQ like they do on The Flash.

The Amish Electrician

No. I think they gonna get the Bullets out and hes gonna heal in a matter of seconds.

Hopefully no. If so, I'd need to change my imdb rating again...

I think it'd be annoying if he was de-powered if they have trouble making him not OP they shouldn't bring super boy in Titans, however they could easily make him less OP then super-man maybe he gets tired often because of being half-human, or maybe he isn't as invincible as people originally thought. Eventually they are going to have write in crazy enemies to fight. So far the roster is Beast Boy who should be able to shape shift in to any animal ( I believe in the comics he can). Starfire who has crazy alien powers, Raven who has crazy demon powers, and super boy who probably has the mind of lex luthor, and some of super-mans abilities. Of course Super Boy is going to over powered against humans, but so will raven, beast boy,and star fire when they learn how to better control their abilities. So having him be depowered seems like a bad move to me. Sure super boy is powerful. But I feel like in some areas raven/star fire could beat super boy. ( I didn't realize this post was going to be so long my bad lol)

I think so a way to make him not so op

I think it would be pretty interesting if they gave him a longer recharge time, like Starfire needing the sun for her powers. They gotta depower him for now, but even if he did have powers, he would be a super loose cannon.

Yizing

I don't think he will lose his powers for long, I think we will see him using his powers soon

Tucker Lobner

I hope not. I wanna see more stealth mode from him.

Dip602

They will most definitely depower Him like the Young Justice cartoon Version. Only to apply limitations for better story telling. It would be too much if he was exactly like Comic Conner who had All of Superman's Powers and Tactile Telekinesis. Although Im sure Slade packs Kryptonite just to be safe.

Grayson Replicas

I'm pretty sure the comics Conner has all the powers just not as powerful as Superman.

James

Maybe Raven?

Rakoon Shampoo

I think not but it depends on how the kryptonite actually affects him i.e will it affect him the same way it would a normal kryptonian

Insert "Oh hell nah" sound effect here

Joel

I think for a couple episodes. But honestly I'm not sure and I feel dumb for not thinking about it lol

MOB12

I don't think so. I think once the kryptonite bullet (it was krypotnite right?) is removed and he gets some sunlight and rest, he will be all good to go. I do wonder how he is going to be able to tell his story to the team with Lex's and Clark's memories meshing together. It is going to be interesting how much of those two characters backstories will effect how Connor's will play out.

Sabrina

Yep. He'll be in recovery for 3-4 episodes where our heroes are struggling with Deathstroke. Than he'll come save the day.

Doby Greg

I mean, the Conner we saw seemed a lot more like Superman than the Young Justice Conner. I don’t really know much about comics Conner so I’m simply wondering, Will he be powered down to Young Justice Conner? Will he have just a bit of power like a Captain America? Or will he basically be a human?

Rakoon Shampoo

I'm just wondering how he'll react around Jason, considering his Robin in the comics is Tim Drake and his Robin in Young Justice is Dick Grayson, I'm interested to see how Jason influences our stealthy half Kryptonion

James

He seemed pretty strong and not only that, but the potential to be really smart. I don't really see how they effectively incorporate him into the Deathstroke story without powering him down a bit

Ethan Prendergast

I think he will be for awhile, that way the show can get away with not using Superboy in certain situations he would quickly solve
