Wow and I just literally saw it last night with my girlfriend too.

Guess what? Art is subjective. Everyone has their own opinions and biases. I don’t trust a critic review any more than I trust audience scores.

No they aren't, most critics have informed, wide-ranging opinions based on watching thousands of films and provide incisive and detailed analysis. Nerd audiences typically just want geek references and explosions.

Corey Did you even watch the japanese one? the movie goes it's own way, it sure has some key moments from the source, but that is what it means to be an adaptation, and yet it takes it's own way, even having a different ending. besides it has more than just one movie, it even has a movie even after Kira is defeated

I think the Netflix one is better than the japanese live-action. Maybe an unpopular opinion... but at least the Netflix version does its own thing. I don't see the point of the japanese live-action.

I seen this during the premiere and loved the 3D and Story. It at least deserves a chance at a sequel.
