Nen is better from a story telling and worldbuilding perspective, stands are better from a fight and design perspective, which are the strengths of each respective series. I love hunter x hunter but my biggest problem with hxh is there are some cool powers that never get used or do anything or characters who we have no clue what their powers are and probably never will

I agree, but some people I know think stands from JoJo are better, what do you think?

The manga and the old anime paybmore attention (in the first episode) to gon's environment while groing up, he basically grew up as a wild animal. He spent most of his life in the forest, with other wild animals, hunting, surviving and learning from them. Thats why he has enhanced senses, movility and stuff like that
