So did no one really catch it or are we just glossing over the fact Vandal Savage just broke his own daughters neck he told Kassandra to take care of her sister Olympia was his daughter but apparently his kids don't inherit the non aging thing he has going on

Here’s something cool: Look at the 1st letter of each episode title. It spells something out.
Edit: And Halo, Geo Force, & Forager are all characters from comics.

This episode does a lot to develop Savage’s character and humanize him somewhat. Like the crew said he almost feels like a hero and the belief of the heroes stifling evolution of the race and the potential long term effects (final battle with Darkseid), but at the same time it reminds us he is a villain and his actions are potentially causing more harm than good. The Light’s plans have spread Justice League so thin they are not there to stop an alien invasion, but have also diverted the Green Lantern Corps as well, which leaves much of universe undefended, which helps benefit Darkseid more than anything. Savage is about evolution, but I felt his tactics or ideals haven’t really evolved and that it will cost him and the Earth on a whole in the near future. Ironically I can see Savage being the thing holding Earth and humanity back from evolving now instead of the heroes. At least that is where I think this going.

I absolutely love that this episode subtly explains where the metagene even came from. NEVER would I have guessed it was because everybody was tangentially related to Gangas Kahn. That's pretty damned awesome
