I felt they resolved this negative speed force too quickly. It seems to be the theme of this show now. Come up with a cool idea, don't dwell on it too much and resolve it in one episode. Just like with Godspeed

I’m not satisfied with anything connected to Nora. I was 100% on Barry’s side... until he apologized. I mean, I get that it’s his daughter but Thawne has repeatedly tried to destroyed Barry and everyone he cares about (and will probably do it again in Barry’s future). For Nora to side with him is so messed up. 😡

it felt too easy. i was kinda hoping for an actual villianous decent, maybe getting a better villian than cicada. that cicada help made a villian so they aren't the big bad.

Not at all satisfied. Nora didn't even get interesting until the last episode and the negative speed force. She finally showed some strength and complexity, rather than just being whiny. If they're not going to expand that plot point, end the Nora/Cicada story line, which is so boring, and send her back to her own time.

In some of the comics, when Barry met Thawne for the first time (in the timeline before his mother was killed), Thawne actually was the Flash of the future, but Barry discovered he was committing all the crimes that he was stopping and exposed him. Thawne didn't care about saving people, he just wanted to be the Flash. With that in mind, do you think Thawne is setting up Nora to be the new Reverse Flash? Perhaps he wants to rewrite the timeline, making Nora an iconic villain so that he may come in and defeat her as the new Flash. Instead of being a villain on death row, Thawne is remembered in the future as a hero.

I certainly hope we get more with Nora and the Negative Speed Force. If the show just wanted a way to get Nora back to the past undetected, I feel there are plenty of other ways they could have gone about doing it that wouldn't be as wasteful of potential, like stealing future Gary's time courier. Everyone else as done it, so why not Nora too?

Nora using the Negative Speedforce was like a teen smoking for the first time then watching those anti-smoking commercials.

I thought it would be interesting to have Nora be a reverse flash type villain for a few episodes. But her angsty attitude got a bit annoying. So I'm kinda happy it's done, but I'm a little disappointed as well.

Not really, I would rather her become the big bad for next season since Godspeed has been kinda shown as weak and only a freak of the week type villain. Though if the option becomes available it would be kinda cool to see Abra Kedabra make a return as a main villain I guess

Going back to my QnA. It just seems like the middle of the season was partially wasted now we are just pushing through plot too quick. I prefer the pace that AoS always seems to pull off during their 20+ episodes. It just makes me feel the writers don’t have a fully organized plan for the season.

I think this mention of the negative speed force was to prepare us for a speedster big bad next season, If that’s the case I’m happy we didn’t dive to deep into it, but if that’s the last we are going to hear of it, It’s an opportunity wasted

it's like a door's been unlocked now - Nora CAN use the negative speedforce if she wants to or by losing control - she's not cut off from it... so I think, from a storytelling standpoint, it's something that we could see in future episodes/seasons

Personally this episode nor this season just did not do it for me. It seemed very anticlimactic and I'm just not enjoying having an entire season with Cicada being irrationally OP only for them to suddenly come up with a magic weapon to negate her.

I personally think it would have a been cool for her to continue to use the negative speed force, maybe as a way for thawne to be redeemed, or maybe Nora could have found a way to use the negative speed force that thawne could not, I also think that the purple with the red lightning just looks better then the purple and yellow.

I really hope Nora using it has some negative side effects because her current usage of it was disappointing, she just got really moody and got mad at everything and everyone, which really as far as a negative speed force goes, I could replicate the same effect by sitting in a dark room with some pizza and listening to green day, hopefully the parasitic effects of the negative speed force means she’s always going to have a bit of red in her lightning slowly turning her actual bad
