I don't believe he's dead, I doubt his deal would be there if he killed the guy he was meant to swap places with, but I feel like Oliver and Felicity might clash over his choice and they'll maybe use that as a way to address the new Felicity.

As much as I like agreeing with Aaron, and as much as I’d like to be done with Diaz for good, I think he’s alive and will probably break out just to enact more of his nonsense plans to rule the world.

No chance in hell. They wouldn't have upgrated Kirk Acevedo to a Series Regulars, just to kill him in episode 7. He's fine, either he'll stay in prison and build himself and empire inside of it or maybe just wait for Longbow Hunters to rescue him.......or he's not even in the prison anymore. That cell was Oliver's and he shawshanked the lock on it earlier in the episode, he probably escaped by himself('cause superpowers) or someone helped him('cause "I'm rich" in Batfleck's voice). And I bet Sampson and Brick are alive too)

It's disappointing that we have to see more of him but we didn't actually see him die so he's probably coming back.

Temporarily in Prison for a week and then back outside of course. Just throw him in a hole and throw away the hole.

I don’t think he died, but if he did, it was the most unclear death ever filmed. I think he survived and will be in jail for some time, but at some point will pose a threat to Oliver again. Team Arrow will now have to focus on 1) the changing opinion on the anti-vigilante act 2) the Long Bow Hunters 3) the new Green Arrow 4) the mysterious Argus story and 5) whoever is pulling the strings behind the attacks on the Glades (given it’s also the focus of the flash-forwards and the new Green Arrow, this will likely be the “big bad” of the remainder of the season.)

Diaz said he won't die in Prison. So for poetic justice I say he died in Prison. That's why Ollie closed the Door. Making sure Diaz knew he died as a Prisoner.

Here’s the thing people aren’t realizing. Where Oliver stabbed him, would have gone directly into his right lung. There are only two possible scenarios here: either he dies, because you don’t naturally survive a wound like that, or someone finds him and takes him to the medical wing and re-imprison him. I find that unlikely, though, because that place was torn to hell. Guards to tend to, prisoners to recapture, tons of things to put back in place, etc. and a wound like that would only take a few minutes to die from. He SHOULD be dead, though he definitely wasn’t when we left him.

I really liked his character at the end of last season but in the beginning of this season they did some weird things with him (eg. The power thing + the way he got caught) i would like to see more of him so i hope he's not DEAD!

They made it pretty clear that he twitched when Oliver closed the cell. But then again, people can twitch before they die. It was a fitting end regardless. Beautifully scored.

He might not be dead, but I have the feeling that he is now t going to be the big bad for a little bit now. They seem to have put him away and Stanley and the long bow hunters may be the new focus of the team and police. Diaz might come back towards the end though for a final fight. I kinda hoping this is e case though as I am kinda over Diaz for now. I am intrigued to see what they do with Ben Turner and if they continue his redemption arc. I like his characters story.

He didn’t look like he died, though severely injured, definitely. Plus it didn’t feel like his end yet.

It looked like he still had some life in him. Plus I don’t think after Oliver’s incarceration that he would just kill Diaz. He’ll likely be in prison (maybe with Star Labs help to accommodate the super strength). Stanley could pose a bigger issue though as a serial killer.

They keep doing this thing where they kill one of the most threatening guys on the show like half way thru the season then they just throw in another villain. So I’m guessing that Stanley is gonna be the new villain. He mite join the long bow hunters
