Black Lightning 2x6 Poll!

I like it better this season because the characters are established, but it’s more equal to me. I would hope when they get to a third season that they hit their stride and make a better show.

I feel like less than season one. only because black lightning unfortunately was on the chopping block this season for me. Between walking dead every other cw super show dr who and titans i just couldnt do it all. Not to mention young justice season 3 is coming soon

I feel like this season is like a chicken with its head chopped off. One second we're here, the next we're here and barely anything connects. I mean, we were dealing with Tobius and now we're suddenly dealing with South Freeland meta Romio and Juliet? Imagine if the Flash was dealing with Cicada, and then suddenly Grodd came out of nowhere and tried to turn Central City into a jungle and that suddenly became an arc, that would be very confusing.

Am I the only one who remembers all the crazy shit that happened last season? A guy got killed, came back to life, saw visions of all the people he's killed, had those visions turn into tattoos (which was never explained,) got brainwashed, and then died again. A woman was doing autopsies on guys who were still alive somehow, and that wasn't explained either because she got killed also. I don't think it's any less grounded this season.

So far I feel like this season would work much better as a Netflix mini-series. So someone could binge watch it. The ending cuts in some of the recent episodes have felt forced, and I would have preferred if they weaved in the Perdi and Sange storyline earlier in the season. Like have it be a legend or urban myth that is proven true.

I won't say that this season is bad but last season felt more grounded and this season feels a little like the flash's weirdness, which make this season feel off for me

I think the show is excellent, it is so much more than a “freak of the week” or “freak of the season” formula and focusing on the family dynamic and closer to the way families work/don’t work together. An example is how the daughter was honest with the mom and hurt the moms feelings. She wasn’t meaning to be hurtful but it came across that way.

I have not really enjoyed it so far i mean the show is called back lightning and we very rarely see him do anything in that suit the ep before this he only put on a suit to have a conversation i want MORE black lightning like this episodes fight with him and Anissa was awesome also i think Supergirl is handling the race issue better this season than BL season 2
