They could be pulling a Lost and have it be a flash-forward, and the aspect ratio shift is just a red herring

2018-06-03 01:16:36 +0000 UTCHe was constantly speaking privately to her in season one, and she's wearing her outfit from then. Even though it's filmed in widescreen, I think it may be a red herring and perhaps she's had some control over him for some time.

2018-05-31 22:03:19 +0000 UTCCould it be that Ford has been cultivating "Bernard"'s mind to get him as close to Arnold as possible. Now that his consciousness is in the system, along with Ford, this is the first time in 30 years that Arnold and Ford are back together. Most of this whole plot and plan by Ford was to get his old friend back.

2018-05-31 05:21:29 +0000 UTCIt's before season 1, after Delores killed Arnold but before Man in Black timeframe, in some version of the cradle when Ford was trying to create a true copy of Arnold before settling on the Bernard version.
2018-05-31 03:51:35 +0000 UTCI have learned to always go with something....else.
2018-05-31 02:18:52 +0000 UTCWilliam said to Jim Delos' host version that they were testing him for fidelity. Delores told Arnold's host version the same thing. The point is, I think that was robots teaching robots. She was testing Arnold's host (AKA Bernard) for fidelity.

2018-05-30 05:55:52 +0000 UTCCradle because that first scene had the same aspect ratio as the scene later with bernard and elsie
2018-05-29 22:44:14 +0000 UTCI think it’s Arnold being created through Dolores memories and they are trial and error on creating him.

2018-05-29 19:49:27 +0000 UTCI voted tor before season 1, If it’s in the cradle does that meant Bernard has a coby in there ? I think ford had the same idea as Dalos and wanted to live forever except ford did it ....... personally I don’t see a coby of a person is that person but a whole different thing .....

2018-05-29 13:20:41 +0000 UTCIt's in the cradle. At the beginning Ford wanted to make Arnold back but failed so he settled with Arnold. But with Dellos experiment he will try again to make Bernard become Arnold with the ball he stole. But the ball return to Bernard host body before the end and we end up with a confused mix of Bernard and Arnold at the beach.

2018-05-29 07:23:06 +0000 UTClisten MFers' let me lay this out really simple for you..... I have no idea. Literally I thought about it for like 2 hours and I have no fucking clue. All I came up with in those 2 hours was how to start this post and I think its pretty good.

2018-05-29 07:02:36 +0000 UTCI think it was before season 1 and happening at the same time as when William was experimenting with his father-in-law. They both talked about fidelity. I think it relates more to quality as opposed to loyalty, but it's meant to have a double meaning. Ford must have been testing the host version of his friend Arnold the same way as William was testing Delos. And Ford used Delores to do the testing.

2018-05-29 04:16:43 +0000 UTCSince Ford specifically said he kept the two apart, I'll guess before and during season 1 is out of the question?
2018-05-29 04:06:47 +0000 UTCIt took place in the cradle, when though? and why?... I'm guessing Ford at some point before copying himself wanted to make sure fidelity was perfected, so he started using the cradle to run fidelity tests virtually rather than waste time and material creating unnecessary physical bodies for the test subjects, like they did for Delos.

2018-05-29 03:32:07 +0000 UTCTime to tell my friends that aspect ratio thing about the beginning and pretend I caught it myself, as per usual ;P
2018-05-29 02:46:24 +0000 UTCSeason 1 and 2 have multiple timelines, so I'm not sure how to vote on this

2018-05-29 02:31:55 +0000 UTCBased on the cinematography I would say in the cradle, but knowing this show that could just be there to throw us off.
