Their break up wasn't a choice it was forced upon them both. Then Mon-El was forced into a marriage, he makes the best out of it and loves Imra,but its not the same love he feels for kara. I feel like Mon-El feels like its his duty to try to push his feelings for kara down. I feel like Mon-El will eventually just ccave to his feelinigs
