I love them saying they’re Team Flint so much! ❤️ also love the discussion of Flint being a great guy versus a good one, mostly because it reminds me of the Lestrade quote from BBC Sherlock about Sherlock, which is one of my fave quotes.

Black Salis reaction time is best time. It's infectious to see them enjoy the show this much. I'm really glad the guys picked up on the parallell between Thomas and James' talk about "strange pairs" and the cut to Flint and Silver directly after that. Everyone needs a partner after all. Speaking of Thomas, I do love that there are some subtle hints of humor there in his conversation with Flint. The whole "Aside from the pirates" thing. Also damn, the man knows how to make a compelling argument. "Hey let me just quote the Bible and the creation of the world - this is my argument for why you should help me out." Also "Silver's Gossip Girl plan" made me laugh a lot. I personally think it's quite genius. The theme of gossip and shame and its role in society has been recurring since season 1 after all... Oh and Flint's plan is GENUIS and it's so satisfying when it works. I never had that issue with Max, but I know people who did, so I get it. But it never affected me - I really enjoy Max. Mondays are pirate days now. And that makes me very happy.

Only reason the girl has any power is because who her father is and its Black Beard and the new pirate is just stupid. Love to see Flint teach the new Pirate the pecking order

Agree with Eric, had the same issues with Max acting the shit out of accent and not so much of a character. Honestly, I had issues with Eleanor acting too, just didn't believe it.

Have to agree with Eric about Max. I always felt her having to affect the accent kind of blew out a lot of nuance to her acting.
