Not 100% sure but I think shes gone for good. Like in Luke Cage when they killed Cottonmouth and everyone was like „whaaaat?“ and the other bad guy came in.. Here they changed it. Maybe the surprise wasn‘t that great but it could be possible.

Jill Scott has better things to do with her time and talents. If Lady Eve comes back, it'll be a different actress.

I would definitely prefer that she return. I feel like they could do a lot more with her character. I loved the scenes with her, especially when Gambi was there as well. Also, if they can bring freakin LaLa back, I feel like there is no reason not to bring Lady Eve back. Just a shame that they most likely won't bring Kiesha (Tobias' sister) back.
