So will you guys do Torchwood? It's worth it.

Now that's a cliffhanger.
Eric and Shane's reactions in this episode were amazing, and Calvin and Aaron's glee at their "WTF" faces were also great to see. Especially Mickey being back and the Daleks in the sphere (and on the table! Very sneaky).
I'm not the biggest fan of the cybermen, so when I first watched this I was a bit like Shane (them again?), even if I spent most of the time panicking about the Rose thing. But I will say, these two episodes makes them work well.
Something I do enjoy in this episode is Jackie. I don't really agree with the guys in that what she said didn't make sense or that it was selfish. She wasn't just talking about changing overall as a person, but that Rose not having her mother to come back to would lose her connection to Earth and to humanity, and if Rose would really still hold on to any of that. She was worried that Rose would lose touch with where she came from or who she was, which I think is a valid concern to have as a mother, even if I don't quite agree with her.
Also, Aaron. I want to let you know that I noticed you doing the THING in the discussion, and I loved it and replayed it and giggled, like, four times. That was great. And please keep sneaking in spoilery pops all over the place. It's really funny once the penny drops.
This is another one of those reactions when I really wished I had a TARDIS, so I could just skip ahead to next week. Oh well. We just have to wait. Allons-y!

I love this ending to series 2 but I can't wait for when they get to the series 3 finale it's spectacular!

The woman on TV was Barbara Windsor, aka Peggy Mitchell from Eastenders, a long running UK soap Opera.

Yeah the 'Get out my pub' bit is from Eastenders, which is one of the longest running soaps over here. She was talking to the ghost of someone who had 'died' twice already and what she said is like her iconic line that she's remembered for

I love hearing the torchwood theme in the back ground of some scenes and these 2 episodes are my favourite with rose in them

On the full length videos, can you hear the audio from the episodes in the background?
2017-10-04 18:54:08 +0000 UTC
'I wonder if that's something we'd know, living in the uk' Yes lmao. Eastenders is a soap opera, and that was Barbara windsor aka Peggy Mitchell, the landlord of the Queen Vic (the pub in Eastenders).

I'm not a big fan of S2, but credit where credit's due: this is one of the best cliffhangers in the history of TV.
The bartender scene was a character from the ridiculously popular, long-running British soap opera Eastenders. Rose, her mom, and Mickey would fit very well into that show, so it's all a bit meta.
