Wonder Woman Movie Poll!

Out of 5, how would you rate the DCU movie WONDER WOMAN?

I have to disagree with you here, Ares is the god of war, if he is existing ( and in this story, he does ) then he can't stay-at-home. He would always have his finger in the pot. He just would not be able to stay out of it. Even if "man" or another god started it. His mistake was revealed in the end when he shows up. Probably out of the question in the back of his mind "how good is she".

I loved it. I don't even like the character in the comics, but I loved her here. Same thing happened with "Man of Steel". The only thing that bothers me was Ares. I understand he's a character and it makes sense, but I felt like it would have served the movie and characters better if he didn't actually influence the war. If it turned out to just be man. That would have been more profound, especially when she decides to spare Dr. Poison.

I thought it was above average the first time I saw it, but in a choice between rewatching Wonder Woman and Pirates of the Caribbean I preferred to rewatch Captain Sparrow. Maybe it's because I'm partial to comedies but I also love superhero movies, so for me even though I thought it was good it didn't give me the impulse or excitement of wanting to rewatch it.

KillApollo

I loved Wonder Woman, but then again since I loved the T.V. Series why would my feelings change? I felt like one could take Wonder Woman out & put Hercules in though & it would still be the same story. Too much of the gods in it. I Also loved Wonder Woman in Batman vs. Superman it was the only thing to like about that movie. Lex was the joker as Kevin keeps telling me.

First time I watched it, I didn't know what to think... SO.... I went again and loved it. Now.... I just love it. I can hate certain things about it but it is what it is and I love the movie for what it has. This is definitely history in the making! I hope to see more Super Hero big budget movies in the coming future!

Gonna say Amazing only because I think it's better than above average by a pretty wide margin. So like it gets a Very Good from me, but not good enough to say Amazing.

When I watched the move with my sister and friend, we all agreed it was the best DCEU movie so far. It was funny and Diana was soooo cool! We literally gasped at all the amazing things she is capable of and the whole theater felt the same way. However, compared to Marvel films, (please don't hate me) it was meh. The story felt like it was really rushed and there were a lot of cringy moments that even my younger sister pointed them out. If DC can get better from here that would be awesome, but Marvel still feels leagues ahead of DC.

I won't say it's one of the best superhero movies of all time because that's a stretch to me. But it is one of the best superhero origin movies of all time! This movie is really good, and it's the best of the DCEU, but it still had some issues with it. The fight scenes used slow motion WAAAYYY too much, and it became jarring in the final fight. Also, sometimes the CGI got wonky and too distracting. I remember that during the beach invasion at the beginning of the movie, Queen Hippolyta looked super rubber-y. It looked awkward with that point in the fight and a few other fights. The other gripe with the film is that the villains were just ass and completely forgettable. Ares was pretty bland (although I like the twist they gave him), the general was forgettable, and Dr. Poison was ehhh, as well.

I loved it! It's the best DCEU movie so far, and hopefully the new standard going forward. The only negatives of the movie are minor and don't detract from my enjoyment of it. I plan to watch it again in theaters and already have the blu-ray preordered.

definitely the best dceu film so far. I think what made this film great is it focused on the two main characters and we really got to know and care about them. I gave us a message and idea the film wanted to drive home that wasn't about demonizing anyone but understanding everyone's good parts of character as well as everyone's faults. The acting and dialogue was solid across the board. But best of all it really captured what wonder woman was about . It was empowering with out being demeaning.

Who would vote Terrible for this movie honestly. DC Producers and Director and Actors in this movie did the very best they can do. I love The Nolan Batman Movies, Iron Man and Avengers in general but this was a complete film. This was on the level of a future Classic Like Spiderman 1 or First Christopher Reeve Superman Movie. Im so glad I was wrong about Gal as Wonder Women but I was more about feeling she looked too skinny. BUt Gal worked very hard too be in shape enough to be Wonder Woman. I learned if the actress is good and that means more then if you look right in a costum. It doesnt bother me her accident that some get on Gal for. She transformers herself from the supermodel fast an furious actress style into Wonder Women. Whatever her acting problems were Pine and the actors around her helped Gal in this movie and thats good Writing and Directing. And I got too say the visuals and Score was a big character in this movie as well.

Skeletor

It was an okay movie. I was largely bored up until the second major fight sequence. The story was very thin and many side characters were not utilized well. Gal Gadot was amazing. She looked gorgeous and felt powerful which is what Wonder woman is all about. Her and Chris Pine were the movies saving grace. I look forward to a second movie and hope they make a more inspired and deep story.

Wonder Woman is an absolute triumph! A film about kick ass women, empowerment, unity, and most of all, about equality. Superhero movies should not always be about a hero fighting a villain. For me as a viewer, superhero films should always be an inspiration to bring your inner hero out in this world. Wonder Woman will inspire little girls and boys to stand up for themselves and grow up to strive for greatness. Gal Gadot is incredible as our hero, echoing the people's hero that Christopher Reeve did so well when he was Superman. Bravo Patty Jenkins and the rest of the cast and crew involved. They've given me a sigh of relief that there is still hope for the DC Extended Universe! Its one of the best films of this year!

Mabs Ali

It was the best DCEU movie. Actually, it was better than that--it was worth watching! It started and ended really strong, but I think it dipped in quality for a bit in the middle--basically everything between leaving Themyscira and the reveal of the real Ares felt like it was trying too hard to be Captain America: The First Avenger.

Jen A. Blue

It was funny without relying on action quips, the main and side characters were well developed. The villains could have been better but didn't ruin the movie. Overall it was extremely enjoyable and I would watch again.

Liam Cook (Saber Copter)

For me, it was amazing. Easily ranks up there among the best comic adaptations to date. As a DCEU film, it stands supreme over its predecessors. As a comic book film, it excels on several different levels and never falls into the simple formula that most comic films has today. Gal Gadot is strength personified, and I absolutely love her. Hahahaha, #4 - Above Average... I see what you did there!
