Update (7-16-24): Sword God's Wives and Concubines Flashback Arcs

I think it's best for the sake of the story if I do the Flashbacks in waves. For now, I wanted to lightly gloss over Retsu and Genryujin's start of their relationship but due to my sudden need of get to where I intended to get this story to, I have to take it back to the present.

We can do several chapters into the present and then about 3 flashback chapters to build up to the War.

I wanted to cover all of the history that Genryujin has such as the awakening of his Zanpakuto, the death of his sister, him marrying Katori first, marrying Retsu second, the whole deal with Saito and why he's been willing to let that slide.

Make no mistake, after the controversial revelation, he will not have her go back to prison.

And regarding the controversy, for those who are reading this in the free tier and haven't caught up to the chapters, just have patience.

I know that chapters have been slow and it's been dragged on a bit and nothing has been explained well, which kinda is the point, but this is something that I have already planned from the start.

It may not seem that way, considering I take so long to write, but I have a rough idea of where the plot goes.

Since I dropped Chapter 1 on webnovel, I had planned how this story was gonna go; Have a good chunk take place before the start of the Canon story, have a couple of flashback chapters to explain MC's history (vaguely), and then start the real stuff (Ichigo's canon journey).

However, with the changes done to the story, Ichigo (Canon Ichigo) does not exist. That being said, there is a major surprise to those who will be sticking through.

Just know that in the few coming chapters, we will begin that planned arc.

Aizen, Tokinada, and all the major antagonists will take part.

I know I haven't been the best and most consistent writer, but I do appreciate the patience. As for my reaction to the comments on Webnovel, well, I don't apologize for them. I find it absolutely annoying at people throwing a fit for something that hasn't been entirely explained. I do understand their frustration and anger, but take a step back and chill tf out. The story isn't done.
