We're back and fully recovered from the hurricane! Fridge is full, lawn is mowed, and everything is back to normal! We celebrated the recovery by eating at a restaurant that specializes in loaded baked potatoes, but then we both ended up getting really sick after. I ordered a buffalo chicken baked potato, but it was more butter than buffalo. Why did I still keep eating it...
So unbelievably excited about Terry Bogard in Street Fighter soon. I've been honing my E. Honda game (thanks to my newfound love of sumo) and slowly but surely getting better. Like I said before, I've always loved and followed fighting games, but also suck ass at them. But I'm slowly getting better, just on the cusp of platinum rank. I can't combo for the life of me, but I'm learning how to incorporate drive rushes to extend attacks, picking up how to bait opponents and punish them, and keep pressure on without overextending. Am I getting better at video games at the ripe old age of 37? Perhaps you CAN teach old dogs how to do a hundred hand slap into a critical art finisher!
Speaking of which, Leslie wants to play more Deadlock together (something I'm also learning how to play decently at now). So see you on Monday!

2024-09-20 04:20:29 +0000 UTCI don't know if any of the Texas BBQ chains we have here like Rudy's or Dickey's have expanded out to Louisiana but if you want a good loaded baked potato go to one of those places and have them stuff it with pulled pork or brisket and then pour on some barbecue sauce and sour cream and go to town. The only way you should get sick off of one of those football sized potatoes is if you try to eat the whole thing in one sitting.
