2025-05-14 19:00:46 +0000 UTCFor all intents and purposes, this episode should have been nothing special. They could have half assed this section of the adaptation but they didn't. They chose to actually just fully commit to the bit and make it amazing. Then the absolute madlads turned around and said, 'hey, great isn't good enough, why not throw more budget in and have a special ending with complex animation.' And thats why love is war is arguably the best adaptation of a manga you will see. Every part of every episode has care taken to make sure it is as entertaining as possible.

It’s cool to see such young artists be given a super cool opportunity like this. Anyway probably the funniest episode of season 3 the “rap” is just so ridiculous and insane I love it so much.

Continuing the rap plotline into this episode was something that I never thought would come back up for real but this show does a great job at that.
