2024-12-06 00:09:48 +0000 UTCOne of the very interesting things about One Punch Man that gets explored is the gradual effect and insight into Saitama's Psyche. This episode he's not even sure if this is the kind of hero he wants to be and how even tho he's this strong, he's lost a lot of emotion and sense of feeling. Being at the top for this long and not even having to grind for it anymore has actually done a lot of damage to him. You can definitely take the show for more than what it is at face value even if it's not as complex as an Attack on Titan/Steins Gate for instance. Also, this show even to this day is still an example of top tier animation it only gets better and better in this season and is really one of the big instances that Sakuga (extremely high and well animated scenes) really started getting into anime.

2024-12-05 01:10:39 +0000 UTCI'm not sure it's confirmed or just just fans speculating, but the written exam is a bunch of questions asking different scenarios where he has to go against different monsters/enemies and how exactly Saitama would solve them. I'm assuming he said "Just punch it" or "Get there before it". Something like that.

2024-12-04 22:33:15 +0000 UTCIt's subtle in this episode but they briefly discussed the hero association start being three years ago after a rich persons son was saved from an attack. The picture of the rich person in the file they showed has the same butt chin as the kid Saitama saved 3 years ago. I caught it on my 3rd or so re-watch of this and it's not mentioned again that I remember.
