i know tony really seems to both like and not like the opening song(can't honestly tell lol) but i enjoy it, wont remember it years later, but if it came on in the car on the way to work i wouldn't change the station you know.

2025-01-04 06:52:55 +0000 UTCYeah definitely the type of show to get better as it goes. I felt very similar feelings to you but this point onwards I thought it just kept getting better. The bass thing at the end also bothered me, in the grand scheme of things it isn’t a massive deal but with the show having such a high bar of quality from the animation, to the directing and writing I would’ve hoped they went the extra mile to make sure what we hear is consistent with what we’re seeing but oh well. Also I don’t know if anyone else has pointed this out but the scriptwriter, Jukki Hanada, was also responsible for the Sound Euphonium and Steins;Gate scripts. Obviously those were both adaptations compared to GBC which is an original but he is amazing at writing compelling character interactions.
