Basic Cobblestone Generator Mk 5
Added 2025-04-11 15:38:58 +0000 UTCThis Cobblestone Generator is almost identical to the advanced version however, this version doesn't include an auto shut-off feature and can only produce anywhere from 32,400 to over 57k cobblestone per hour as opposed to the 230k cobblestone cap on the advanced generator. However, it does have an edge on the advanced cobblestone generator by not requiring any brass or rose quartz, making it ideal for anyone just starting out in the game and is in need of a quick, super effect method of cobblestone generation.
Main Features:
Precision Mechanism Free - No mechanical arms or speed controllers.
Brass-free - No brass was used to create this machine.
0 Stress Units - Can function at 100% efficiency while utilizing no su.
Extremely Compact - Designed as small as possible.
Base Required Inputs:
Rotational power: 36x RPM
(Run at as low of an RPM as possible)
Base Outputs Per Hour:
Cobblestone: 32,400 at any RPM
Required Mods:
The Create Mod
Linking to Your Network (Not Required):
1. Place a packager facing the barrel.
2. Connect a frog port to your chain conveyor system and place onto the packager.
3. Link a stock link to your network and place it on the packager.
Setup Guide:
1. Water log all the mechanical pumps in the machine.
2. Cover the edge of the pumps with any block of your choice to contain the water in the machine.
3. Make the wall go one block lower to contain the cobblestone and prevent it from being flung out from the machine onto the ground.
4. Next, the machine is going to need a form of rotational power applied to it via the bottom. Note that the machine only needs to recognize that there is rotational power being applied, so the lower rotations per minute you can give to the machine, the less stress units you will need to give it.
5. Take a lava bucket and place lava into the Item drain on top of the machine.
6. Place a minecart under the cart assembler.
7. Flip the lever to turn it on or off.

Ok Ive worked out my mistake due to a lack of understanding of the build. Im gonna leave my comments up to help anyone else struggling. So there is nothing wrong with this build through the schematic and using it on the modpack I mentioned. It was just user error. The fix was simply applying the rotational power to the correct spot underneath. Because I have only just started using the Create mod and then built this through the schematic, I did not realize until I watched the youtube video that shafts can be hidden within casings. So when I went to complete the setup step of 'apply rotational power underneath build', I was confused cause I didnt think there were any shafts and just assumed it would work through the underside of any of the blocks. After the video I now know the shaft is hidden in the front right corner (when looking at build from front) and is accessible from underneath. As soon as I connected my rotation power (I built the linked basic water wheel power generator schematic) to the shaft properly, everything worked with no issue! I hope this helps anyone else. Could I ask 'Our Creation' that in the Setup Guide 4. u state to connect the rotational power via the bottom "of the shaft hidden in the front right corner, visible from underneath", just to help those who are beginners please.

2025-07-22 23:27:23 +0000 UTCSo Im playing the latest Steampunk LPS v16 modpack and I double checked the Create mod version it is using (1.20.1-0.5.1.j) and then downloaded the Create v5 basic cobble generator schematic and used the in game cannon to build this. I then followed the setup guide but have a problem.. I have no cobble generating.. the machine is 'raising' and 'lowering' with no issues, all fluid pipes appear to be connected to the item drain with the lava, but im also not getting any lava particles appearing just under the waterlogged mechanical pumps? Is that the indication for cobble not generating or is there another issue? Any help trouble shooting this would be much appreciated. Im currently watch through ur youtube video on the generator and hoping to work this out...
