So here's what I've produced over the weekend; some pictures of Meg in her element. I can't seem to control myself where she's concerned, which is both good and bad.
Good, because it means I am inspired to draw, have output and explore myself artistically.
Bad, because I'm giving away more and more about her before even having completed her little sequential art thing X3
Ah well, I'm having way too much fun drawing her and going out on a bit of a limb as to what I'm comfortable with and willing to draw, so you're going to have to put up with Meg coming around more often in the next while.

First we have Meg sitting in some bar somewhere having a drink by herself, or she was at first. Apparently someone's struck up a conversation and she's currently in the process of vetting them. To what ends I'll leave you to decide for yourself, but as the batch of sketches from a couple' weeks ago shows, Meg knows her way around boys, and she's more than happy to pick them up on offers from time to time.
The inspiration for this one was the Mamma Mia cover of ABBA's "Does Your Mother Know", because I ended up binging the AMV Hell series over this last week while working, and some of the songs ended up on a playlist. Concerning the lyrics, Meg may well employ some defensive flirting to ward off undesirable suitors, but age is rarely a factor for her. It's not like she treats highschool graduation ceremonies as hunting grounds, but if she sees something she likes, all it takes is an ID that'll get you through the door of a bar ;3

Second we have definitely the more refined and involved piece of the weekend, though it came together on the same evening X3
Megaera has a bit of a thing for theatricality and exaggeration, and while she definitely has a professional facade, it is exactly that - a facade. Unleashed Meg is a cruel and sadistic individual who revels in what she does, with little to no regard for collateral or restraint. You'll see what I mean when I do eventually get around to publishing that sequential thing I mentioned, but that unfortunate bunny boy she's swinging about there very likely isn't her actual mark.
I don't remember the exact inspiration that brought this about, but if nothing else I feel it has artistic value. I am exceedingly happy with how it turned out in any case. I named it open role reversal, as that's what dance competitions call performances where the woman takes the lead, which is what is happening in this particular composition, but I'm still wracking my head for an alternative title for when this does eventually go public.

A bunch of sketch and low grade stuff next, before I go sleep =w=
