Added 2024-04-16 17:00:01 +0000 UTCContinuing with clever visuals, I LOVE any chance I get to make the word balloons actively a part of a scene. Not to get all Comic Artist about this, but any time I find particularly clever ways to make full use of my medium is SUCH a treat.
That also goes for the switching between perspectives that happens throughout. I'm sure I've mentioned already, but the first draft of the story didn't have Simon showing up in this chapter until the VERY END, maybe not even until the Chapter 3 Intermission. Obviously that's been heavily re-written, and to my mind, purely for the better.
Until the chapter is complete, I won't have a full idea of how well this shifting back and forth works, but I'm doing my best to ensure it remains clear to read while not drawing /too much/ focus away from whatever scene is primary at the time.
