forgiveness

But there are some things that we don't have the power to forgive without great disrespect to ourselves. Achieving forgiveness for egregious trespasses requires effort from both parties and a part of it happens to be compassion for the guilty and penitent. I wouldn't be the person I would be today if the right people hadn't offered me compassion for my remorse. I think Jaime's relationship with Jo is a story about forgiveness
