Important PSA: Patreon's new fees
Added 2017-12-08 23:04:46 +0000 UTCHello! I was informed that all patrons have received a notification email regarding Patreon's new payment system. If you are a part of my Discord or if you follow me on twitter, you may have seen my stance on the subject.
To be terse, I think Patreon is making a real dick move and I've been thinking about alternatives given that they don't reconsider their proposal.
At this point, the quickest solution for me would be to set up tier channels in my Discord so I can easily contact everyone with their rewards. Since I don't have a subscription system set up, it would be in conjunction with my donation page, of which I would remind patrons every month.
I may look into self-publishing my own subscription page, if I have time. I just wanted to offer a new option for the patrons who find this change as distasteful as I do. Your feedback is much appreciated!

2017-12-09 08:22:38 +0000 UTCI would love to have one place, but i am honest - this is already the second time Patreon did something stupid without rethinking it (ok the last time it was only the design and logo) but who knows what the next idea could be. So for me its better suporting an artist on their own site an ground is in my eyes the better solution (there they can dictate the rules more)

I just wanted to find some alternative methods for the lower tiers, since they get taxed a disproportionate fee for their pledges. Thank you kindly for your continued support either way! <3
