WickedWhims v172.9 [2022-08-03]

A content update that revamps Attractiveness to make this game patch properly supported will be out very soon too.

❗ WickedWhims is fully functional with the current game patch and expansion pack!

If you're experiencing any issues, errors, missing save data, game not loading or freezing, remember, the game just received a game patch that broke a lot of mods. This is alongside the newest game patch and expansion pack having issues on their own. You have to make sure every mod you have installed is updated to a compatible version or removed. This includes clothing, furniture, traits, aspirations, gameplay modifications, and scripts.

⚠️ Attention! This release drops backward compatibility support for older game patches! You are required to have at least the 1.90.375 game patch or newer.

If you're not updating your game, just stick with the v172.6 release. Installing this release on an older game patch will cause errors.

❗ If the tongue or penis is appearing floating/stretched/distorted (even when Sim is not having sex) then you need to delete incompatible/outdated mods affecting tongues and/or penises. Here's a list of known PACKAGE files causing issues:

❗ If a penis made by Noir or Simdulgence is appearing deformed/stretched, you have to update it a release compatible with the newest version of WickedWhims.

❗ If a custom body or straㅤpon you used previously isn't working or can't be used, you have to update it a release compatible with the newest version of WickedWhims.

• Added a workaround to prevent the save rollback issue

A lot of you reported issues with your game save going back in time, so I investigated it. Although I wasn't able to find the cause of this bug, I learned that something changed in the latest patch in regards to how outfits data is working now. I managed to construct a workaround that avoids the "sensitive" point causing the save to break.

I don't know if this fixes all occurrences of this problem, if other mods can cause it, if the game itself can cause it, or what really is the source of it. It will take a while to figure it out, but hopefully this workaround is enough for now.

• Fixed an error when opening Strip Club Employees menu

• Excluded Teen Sims from any sexual interactivity

Due to the recontextualization of teen Sims in the game, making them prepubescent and physically immature, I'm no longer comfortable allowing them to retain sexual functionalities. This is a pretty major change, but it has to be done. You can bring back the old behavior with external mods, but WickedWhims will not officially support it.

• Added 'Post-Puberty' teen-specific Wicked Attribute (trait)

After installing the High School Years expansion pack, you might notice that all teen Sims are constantly dealing with puberty and acne. Besides it being annoying for the teen Sims, it can be pretty annoying for the player too, so you can now disable puberty and acne on individual teen Sims with the 'Post-Puberty' Wicked Attribute.

• Made High School and Auditorium venues excluded from sex and nudity autonomy

• Made shaving and applying cleanser clean off cum

• Made 'Crush' sentiment require at least Attractive level of Attractiveness

• Updated Impressions to support new traits and social interactions

• Added support for watching porn on dual monitor computers

• Added support for the Haunted House, Ferris Wheel, Tunnel Love, and Photo Booth WooHoo

• Compatibility with the 1.90.375 game patch

• Updated the phone icons to match the new style

• Added support for the new CAS Sexual Orientation functionality

Sims have to match both the Romantic Attraction and the Interest in WooHoo to agree to have sex. Most of relationship-related features only require matching the Romantic Attraction. Adjusting preference towards Male/Female via Attractiveness will adjust the preferences in CAS.

Other mods that provided custom sexual orientation are no longer supported.

• Added support for 'WooHoo Partners' relationship

• Removed custom whims

The newly introduced Wants & Fears aren't very different from Whims, but they do show up in a different way. I think this is a good opportunity to retire the existing whims and begin planning Wants with Fears to be added later.
