They dated openly for years when he was actively in BigBang and then got married before he had to go to the military. He is always open about his love for her and even did the song “eyes, nose, lips” which is a must listen to it’s a beautiful love song and he sang it with her face in the music video to win her back after they had broken up. ❤️

Taeyang met his wife, Hyorin, through his fellow member G Dragon in 2013 but really got to know her by having her as the female in his "1 AM" MV in 2014. She was and still is a well known model and actress in Korea, so both were in the entertainment industry essentially. In that same year of his MV, 2014, they started dating. However they had a short period when they separated for busy lives and Taeyang feeling like he fell short in the relationship due to lack of dating experience and balancing celeb life. But Taeyang was still so down bad for her lol, that he released a legendary song of the century called "Eyes Nose Lips" during that "breakup" time. The lyrics of that song is basically how much he misses her whilst having her picture in the back. That song becomes one of the top songs to be covered in all of Kpop btw. Anyways, they get back together and got married in 2018 and they had a kid in 2021. He's still working hard as a soloist, having solo music tours and working with Big Bang members as you've seen through MAMA.

Each group contributed a lot to the kpop industry as a whole but the fandoms have some weird competitiveness or ego with the group they like that they can’t admit it..
