I know that I'm way late in commenting, but I'm just now catching up . I wanted to say that during the scene when SunJae's father is dragging him out of the video store, you mentioned it's like the Montague and Capulets...I laughed out loud because the BGM for this scene is "What is a Youth" a song from the 1968 Franco Zeffirelli version of Romeo and Juliet soundtrack. I love this movie and the soundtrack so I recognized it right away, but most wouldn't have noticed. Way to go!

2024-08-21 22:59:26 +0000 UTCSol always thought Sunjae died from suicide due to the pressure of being an idol but in ep 8-9 she found out he was murdered so him being an idol is unrelated to his death, this is why she’s sad she took that away from him. Also, she’s not telling SJ about the killer because she doesn’t want him to be involved with that man in any way, atp she only went back in time to save him and it’s her last chance so she doesn’t want to risk it

2024-08-05 20:57:18 +0000 UTCI totally agree with you guys on the extreme shifts in tone from scene to scene. It reminds me a lot of Strong Woman Do Bong Soon (also on Viki). It went from hilarious or really fluffy rom-com moments to like, psycho kidnapper plot. Also, I recommend it the next time you're feeling like reacting to something light-hearted and funny.

So when Sol came back to 2008, she tried her best not to make him a singer. However, Sol back in 2023 found out that Sunjae didn't kill himself and was killed by the taxi driver. Now she knows Sunjae becoming a famous singer has nothing to do with his death. That's why she feels bad that she disturbed him being a singer.
