Life Update

Hey folks! Just wanted to let yall know there's been a very sudden change in my life.

If you didnt know for the past 2 ish years ive been a truck driver and been extremely enjoying the job. My schedule especially. I was 2nd shift and it was great and so was my pay! I was happy to make it my career and truck my way to retirement.

I was in a trance about getting Ripleys butthole juuuuussst right. I REALLY love drawing assholes for real. My schedule has been a bit convoluted so I havent been able to go to the art store to grab Ripley's main blue color yet. But wanted to color in his sensitive parts :3

Cyrus and Atticus WIP

Worked more on this today. Had to do a LOT of colors correcting.

One of the reasons ive been shaky on doing illustrations with Atticus is because he's got a pretty complicated pallete. Ive been trying to figure it out personally on a few test pages.

I trieeeed to do something interesting with the shading as seen in the second image but it wasnt coming out as planned. Luckily, I work on thick paper and have a quill pen that I scrape the top layer off and can redo the color. ...

Its been too long since I've drawn Atticus having a proper turn with his boy. Which is ironic since he's the character I most frequently fantasize about (next to Ripley ;3c)

The wolf character is no one in particular. More of a over-saturation of ideals. Hes a fusion of Ripley, Stills, characters in the fandom I've adored and an idealized lover.

You may see the place where I originally inked Stills' left foot, when I make mistakes inking I typically use a exacto to scrape away a top layer of the paper, scoring it so when I go and color that correction won't be too visible.

Largest one as of yet. 18" x 24" last large one was just 14" × 17"

I had to essentially glue two pieces of paper together to get this size. Im thinking of still gluing more on and possibly making it even larger! My muse seems to want to literally have this organically grow and expand as much as possible.
