Originally his parents met in sign language class or something as adults and then fell in love, they were never supposed to meet in high school but he changed that. Everything he does is changing the present fyi ^^

Remember Yichan and Ma Joo reached out to him and were going to meet him, but because Eun Gyeol went to the past, he ran into Yoon Dong Jin, picked up the newspaper Dong Jin dropped, and messed things up. So in the original timeline, we can assume that Yichan and Ma Joo met Yoon Dong Jin that day like they were supposed to, and he joined their band like he was supposed to. The future Yoon Dong Jin that we’ve been seeing is from the original timeline before Eun Gyeol messed things up. So what I’m saying is the “he still needs to join the band” thing isn’t quite accurate. He’s saying he was in the band because before Eun Gyeol traveled to the past, Yoon Dong Jin was actually in the band. (Now could he rejoin the band again in this new timeline? Sure. But it doesn’t need to happen to justify the older Yoon Dong Jin’s comments since those are coming from the original timeline). I hope that makes sense and didn’t just confuse you more.

He dropped his news paper, and that what Eun Gyeol picked up to realize it was 1995. He also thought he got scammed by Yi Chan (Dad) and MaJoo, so the didnt want to join a school band. When he met the band mates with the gray-haired guy he was going to figure out that the group he got scammed by was the group he was talking to, ao the guys had to hightail it out od there before he discovered it. .

2024-02-15 23:40:18 +0000 UTCHealthcare worker here: realistically, if someone got hit in the head multiple times and as hard as pink pillow has, they would have a TBI (traumatic brain injury) at some point. I really feel like just because he said he could hear eungyeol initially. The after effects can also set in after a bit. So he could hear eungyeol initially, but after a little bit he could also suffer a concussion that can mess with his level of awareness and other senses too. Kinda like when someone busts their head open, have blood gushing out their head, but don’t feel anything or doesn’t know how bad it is until they see the blood.
