The squid game comment is wild 😂 Also none of the actors/actresses who play deaf characters are deaf or mute in real life. All of them can hear and speak. The voiceovers you hear while they sign are the actors/actresses real voices speaking over the signing. And another fun fact is that the actor who plays the ML’s older brother who is deaf in 2023 is a kpop idol from a group named Golden Child.

The man that had the interview in 2023 was yoon do jin, the guy they originally wanted to recruit into the band that they ran away from. Originally he joined the band and then the accident happened and the dad became deaf and then met the mom at the deaf academy where he was learning sign language.
