2023-12-13 22:48:59 +0000 UTCAs far as I'm aware after rewatching this show multiple times, I believe the tree shots from the last episode were symbolic of choices made; one thing lead to another, like a ripple effect. Different choices could have branched out into different paths. I haven't read up on it but it's just something I personally picked up on!

2023-12-13 05:04:39 +0000 UTCIf you rewatch season one, Samuel and Daz are there from the beginning. For a short period of time since they aren’t main characters, but it shocked me to realize we’ve met these two characters before. It makes sense that Samuel shot Armin because he knew he was a Titan and he would be ok. It’s also why he didn’t shoot Conny because he might actually die. No one actually wanted to be the one to pull the trigger . I also remember seeing someone point out the reason Armin was shot in the mouth is because his greatest strength is his words and taking that away forced him to stay silent. It was so sad because neither one of them deserved to die, but they were killing each other simply because they have different ideas/opinions. It’s a great call back to the beginning of season 3 when they had to come to terms with killing people for the first time.

2023-12-13 02:33:27 +0000 UTCRemember Sasha’s dad said “We have to get the children out of the forest or this cycle of violence will keep happening to the next generation & the next.” Our Alliance being in the forest, arguing, discussing their past sins, & coming to an agreement was them finding their way out of that forest. Out of that cycle to work together. Magath even came clean & apologized for his part in Marley’s attack of the island. Also no one told. Floch isn’t dumb. He likely put the pieces together. Lastly Samuel & Daz are from season one. Sasha saved Daz when the Colossal appeared in Trost & blew them off the wall. Daz was the coward that wanted to abandon the Trost recovery effort. He was saved by Historia & Ymir in a season 2 flashback way during training.
