I liked the movie, too, and generally I agree with what y’all said, though I didn’t care as much that the villains weren’t that threatening bc I thought that was appropriate for a family movie. I was surprised you didn’t mention in the positives that the movie had heart! I thought they did a great job in some of the emotional scenes and dealt well with the issue of grief, understanding emotion, and self-loathing v acceptance. So that’s what really made the movie for me. Happy you reacted to it!
