Dear diary:
Can you believe that I was completely sure that today was Thursday, and that’s why I didn’t post anything yesterday?! I’m so sorry, I realized it just while writing this. 😳
Anyway, the result of the last poll on the name of the protagonist of my next project is in the picture above. Thank you all for participating: your votes and comments give me an idea of what you like and what interests you the most, and sometimes they surprise me.
In fact, I’m shocked that the name that I prefer is the last one in the poll. Don’t you think that Emma is beautiful? I love it, and I can see the other characters calling our protagonist Em. I thought it’d be more successful, haha, and despite everything, I haven’t discarded it yet.
Isolde and Valentina have won, and they’re definitely good choices: I love Val as a diminutive. Anyway, I haven’t made my mind: when I finish our girl’s final design, her physique, I’ll know which one fits her.
I’ll show you the list with the names for the male protagonist very soon. That’s also an important choice and I need to think about it very carefully.

¿Cómo os quedáis si os digo que pensaba que hoy era jueves y por eso no publiqué nada ayer? Lo siento muchísimo, me he dado cuenta mientras estaba escribiendo esto. 😳
En fin, arriba os dejo el resultado de la encuesta sobre el nombre de la protagonista de mi siguiente proyecto. Gracias a todos por participar: vuestros votos y comentarios me dan una idea de lo que os gusta y lo que os interesa más, y a veces me sorprende bastante.
De hecho, me ha sorprendido que el nombre que a mí me gusta más haya quedado el último. ¿No os parece que Emma es precioso? A mí me encanta, y me imagino perfectamente a los otros personajes llamando Em a nuestra protagonista. Pensé que tendría más éxito, jaja. Pese a todo, no lo descarto aún.
Han ganado Isolda y Valentina, que son buenas elecciones. Me gusta mucho Val como diminutivo. De todas formas, no he decidido aún cuál será el nombre elegido. Podría ser uno de estos o uno que todavía no se me ha ocurrido. Cuando termine el diseño final de nuestra chica, su físico, sabré cuál es el correcto.
Pronto os enseñaré la lista con los nombres para el protagonista masculino. Esa también es una elección importante y hay que pensarlo con mucho cuidado.
Bueno, esto sería todo por hoy. La semana que viene no faltéis, porque saldrá el capítulo 3 de “Love, Lies and Petticoats”, cuyo título será [censurado]. ¡Os veo en unos días! 😘

2025-06-04 06:52:11 +0000 UTCValentina is such a common name here (brazil) specially amongst the newer generation, so im kinda sick of it 😅 but I see why that name sounds interesting! between the winners, I like Isolda better, but overall Elisa has my heart,, its sooo pretty to me. but they all have different vibes, im sure you'll know which to pick once her design is finished like when a mother looks at their newborn baby and can immediately decide on the name sksjsksj im very excited for the new project 🥹 I wonder who will be our new ginger (or no gingers this time?) :P

Lady Liar was set around 1845, and Miss Abbott in 1895. I'm thinking about 1805 now, but I'm not sure yet. 😃 I like that spelling variation for Lucas and I'm including it in the list, thank you!

Also, has it been decided what time period the next series shall be in? I’d love to see a story set in the 1940s!! 😍 I loved Lady Liar so much! I just ate up the entire series in a week and can’t wait to see more of your work Maripaz!!😊❤️

Maybe it’s because deep in our minds we feel like we are more unique people if we choose a unique name (I chose Isolde so I may be victim of this haha). But I agree that the name Emma has a beautiful sound and that Em is a great nickname. There are so many personalities she could have. We’ll love your character, whatever her name is, as long as you write her 😊
