2024-02-20 18:04:45 +0000 UTCi honestly haven't watched the grammys in ages since mostly i've been super dissapointed in the grammys for ages and also because the rock and alternative categories got send to the show they do preview to the main ceremony and that's unacceptable and that's why i stopped watching and a lot of those artists have not been at the show since the categories stopped being given in the main show including paramore which won two grammys and both of those were given out in the pre show and when they won in 2015 they were also absent and no one talks about the records they've broken with their wins because its not mainstream: them and hayley as a female fronting a rock band was the first woman in rock album category to ever win and also, they won for best alternative performance for this is why and is the first time since 1999 a woman won that award since alanis morrisette and they also broke a similar record when they won in 2015 for best rock song for ain't it fun which was now broken by boygenius which won this year but no woman had won since hayley and paramore in 2015...no artists from rock and alternative category were at the pre show or main one were nominated or not just if they were presenting and olivia which had one or two nominations there which i don't agree with but that's me imo but she only showed up at the main event... i don't think i'll ever watch the grammys again until they get their head together and stop putting important stuff aside in order to have big moments and big artist in the mainstream like it's been happening more and more for a decade or so... thats just me tho and i've been seeing similiar reaction online especially twitter and especially from those who listen to these big arists but are more into these styles of music which are sent out the main show and it shouldn't be that way...
