2020-12-16 22:01:23 +0000 UTCI haven't been that early ever lol this transported me right back to 2015, i love this album so much and it's definitely a vibe and puts you in this very visual place in your mind. Hold Me Down, Drive and Strange Love are my favorites but I love the production of all the songs. When you said techno, maybe you mean industrial since that was a huge influence on badlands. And actually, this wasn't her first project, she released an ep in 2014 which included ghost and hurricane and ghost was her first single. I'm not surprised you've heard new americana before because that was a single and it's very catchy but I am surprised you knew hold me down bc that wasn't a single and as far as i know not on the radio. But thanks for doing this, I really enjoyed listening to the album with you!
