BTS - Ddaeng Song/Live/Vocal Line Reaction!

This one goes out to Zoe! I loved seeing one song from different perspectives, so fun :)

BTS - Ddaeng Song/Live/Vocal Line Reaction!

Comments

They were performing in such a small place bc it was their 2018 Festa concert, their anniversary concert which usually is smaller and more intimate with fans, they interact, play games and things like that.

Camila Garcia

loved this reaction! jungkook is something else

Scave13

Jungkook actually used to be more of a rapper during debut times but then he started to lean more towards singing while still trying to let people know that he's multitalented and can still rap

Anjuliq Nelson

So glad you enjoyed this performance and the song πŸ’œ Ddaeng is also one of my favorites. It just have this depth that I appreciate in every music. and I like the part of Suga where he said "Friends from small companies I hope you all become big soon". This just shows how amazing people and artists the boys are.

Ailyn Syene Caparro

Don't worry....the word ddaeng has so many meanings it's just incredible. This is most definitely a masterpiece that you'll appreciate even more after watching the explanation video.

heavenlyonesbts

haha yeah i saw that after

Caitlin Marie

just did! :)

Caitlin Marie

noooo u missed namjoon's iconic fan opening part during his verse when u looked away

youNICEkeepGOING

maybe tweet an ask for some recommendations? it’s okay tho! you’ll learn more about korean culture as u get even further into bts :) it’s all good!!

amanda

yes! there is so much depth to this track, so beautiful!

Caitlin Marie

Taehyung is the number 1 fan of the rapline lmao he loves all the rapline songs so he came out

youNICEkeepGOING

wow he's so creative damn

Caitlin Marie

yeahhh i feel bad, but i promise it was an honest mistake. i've actually been trying to find a good book or two on korean culture to better understand these things, i'm just not sure what's best

Caitlin Marie

Yes this is a diss track

youNICEkeepGOING

This song has a lot of korean traditional instruments. When Namjoon stutters, he's actually mocking rappers who say that idol rappers like bts rapline aren't good. Please check out DKDKTV's explanation for this song <3

youNICEkeepGOING

cant wait for u to find out about the meaning about the song which makes it even 10 times better. and jk doing namjoon's rap part is legit my fave thing ever

Zoe

Ddaeng is one of my fave BTS songs! From the beat to the incredible flows to the depth of the lyrics, and oh gosh, RM's deliberate stuttering is masterful! πŸ’œ Definitely you should check out the DKDKTV explanation video (which I'm guessing is the one you were referring to), because it breaks down the various meanings very well. And Jungkook for sure is a natural rapper - after all, he's rapped for a number of their earliest tracks! Great reaction! Thank you for this video! πŸ’œ

Wayra Elladae

it’s completely understandable!! they remind me a lil of pajamas too

amanda

yess! he was actually so so good and totally seemed like a natural! but he’s an amazing vocalist too πŸ₯°

Caitlin Marie

yeahhh I realized this while editing but didn’t wanna cut it out. That was my bad. yoongi’s clothes reminded me of western pajama sets

Caitlin Marie

Those two have helped me so much! πŸ˜„

Yasmin Manser

I will always wonder what would've happened if JK became a rapper like he wanted to rather than a Singer. I think he kinda started out rapping actually in their earlier stuff (correct me if I'm wrong, I know he sang back then too) πŸ₯° so proud!

Alyssa Litwiller

lol the rap line wasn’t wearing pyjamas 😭 if i’m not wrong i’m pretty sure they were wearing traditional korean clothing 🀍

amanda

thank YOU for sending it! i have such an appreciation for the rap line and i truly feel that this is some of their best work, I’m amazed

Caitlin Marie

thanks for doing my request caitlin! YAY

Zoe

YES! i sent her the link to that also!

Zoe

I would highly recommend checking out the DKDKTV explanation for this! There is so much amazing wordplay and korean references that they explain really well! 😊
