Stolen Work - How To Help Me
Added 2020-06-16 23:41:01 +0000 UTCWell, it's happened. Yesterday, I found three pieces of my work stolen. One user, to add insult to injury, claimed credit for my work.
Currently I have cases filed for all three.
How can you help?
- Tell me.
That's it. If you find my work posted somewhere other than my listed profiles, tell me. Send me a message with a link in a DM here on Patreon, Twitter, Reddit, wherever I am listed as active. I appreciate the support and people telling the person to take it down, but as the creator, I have a lot more weight to throw around.
As a side note, it is not lost on me the irony of this occurrence. Just 3 days ago I confessed my own misconduct with stolen art on Twitter (my problem of retweeting stolen art). I'm not proud of my actions, EVEN MORE so now, but I am doing my best to own my mistakes, make up for it the best I can, and do right by those artists.
I fell like this problem is not talked about enough, so I hope you can take something from this. Please don't steal from artists.

Any content (monitized or not) that anyone is using should give credit to that creator. I have had an idea of posting a video that would have an audio snippet of a video that had to do something with JOI and I wouldn't use the audio w/o asking permission from them.
