2022-11-10 01:13:36 +0000 UTCSmall explanation: Obviously, the longer the video, the bigger data it has. Just as obvious, the higher res, the higher data. Combine both and the amount of data just becomes ridiculous. Long story short, probably to avoid uploading a 1Tb video on patreon. Bit of exageration, but not really. An unedited stream 2h30-ish at 1080p is almost 5gb. Now add multiple tracks to it, several video source, several off-track audio, etc. and it can easily go around the 20-30gb for a 2h30 1080p stream. Now, imagine that those video sources are 2k-4k natively and the multiple audio sources, that shit would have gone into the 70-100gb easily. Sadly, i don't think youtube handles that amount for a video. Especialy because that would take too much space on their servers for nothing. And it's without thinking about the time it would take to render the video in itself. Even worst if they do a double rendering (basicly render the video 2 times to make sure there's no bug n' glitches)
