Quick Thoughts on the Weekly Challenge
Added 2022-10-26 17:52:29 +0000 UTCJust because I don't have any new art to share just yet, let's reflect on the second challenge week. I didn't manage to meet the deadline. A few years ago when I challenged myself to draw 12 works for the year it was a different set of circumstances to now. I rarely drew, I was working, studying, I have other things going on in my life, I had to force myself to draw to get to where I am now.
Now, the reason why I felt I could draw 12 works a week is because all I do is draw, even in time off. I do think I could do 12 works easily, while putting everything else aside, but it's not exactly realistic to do with other things cropping up.
Unless I better organise myself, which is easier said than done, but I do still think it could be done. When a picture takes 5 to 6 hours to complete, you could fit two a day there pretty easily. Some, like the recent Qi'ra Emporium piece, took less than half that time. But that doesn't account for work, or sick pets, family and other life obligations, illness, fatigue...but I'd be willing to give it a third attempt sometime soon.
Tales of the Jedi is finally here so now it's time to explore the TCW style and return to and finish my What If? story. It's a fun one, I hope you'll enjoy.
There are many projects waiting in the wings, so many I've likely forgotten several, like the hanging thread of the OCs and my call for fighting game characters and tributes of departed artists... of the projects I announced or expressed interest in, what would you like to see?

I always look forward to content featuring your OCs.
