Rise of the Force - Rey’s First Lightsaber

With a crackling blade like her arch nemeses own weapon, the hilt takes inspiration from Luke’s two sabres and Leia’s own hilt, while some details like the ignition dial informing her final gold bladed sword she wields towards the end of the story. The broken crystal keeps the weapon unbalanced, and numerous hastily made modifications like the wires running down the outside try to stop the power building up. Rey’s first constructed lightsaber is a light reflection of Kylo’s, whether it can stand up against him…you’ll need to read the story.
