Added 2025-01-22 16:10:34 +0000 UTCHelen and I met online and started remote shooting back in the Covid days. She was one of the first models I worked with remotely. I have to admit, she is difficult to work with, but we've tried a few things over the years and most of them don't work out. She has a penchant for standing nude against the wall or doing something in front of a very bright window. This shoot was no different. At first she posed in front of her living room window which totally blew out the photos. When I pointed that out she moved to standing in front of the wall. On top of everything else, her camera usually breaks down during the shoot (she's replaced the camera now). She is fun from an acquaintance standpoint and is very knowledgeable from a photography standpoint. She has studied some of the great art nude photographers.
This was one of the last shoots we did together. She still models, although I'm not sure how much remote work she does. She has a lot of knowledge about urbex locations in and around London, which is her forte, and originally drew me to her. Unfortunately we can't shoot in those locations with her equipment limitations. We've tried.
