Commission - Vegapunk Lab
Added 2022-11-30 13:45:51 +0000 UTCThanks to RachWrites for commissioning this art with me! Although I'm a fan of One Piece myself, surprisingly, I have never draw any characters from the series. In this scene, Nami and Robin are "trapped" in Vegapunk's Lab... maybe for research purposes. Their outfit are also based on the latest Vegapunk arc.
The process of making this was pretty much straight forward, not deviated much from the original sketch, but there are quite a lot of layers in the CSP file for the water and light effects. I have to admit I'm not good at drawing and rendering water, (I might include that fact in my future commission sheet), when I was making this, I only realized that my water looked so wrong because the water did not produce image distortion effect or the refraction effect. I tried my best, hopefully this is something I'll be good at in the future.
After making the statis tubes in Blender, I do kinda feel like want to explore more idea similar to this in the future🤔. We'll see...
I also want to say sorry for posting this at the very last day of November. I could not finish this earlier because I had to return to my hometown for few days for stuffs
